The Chipmunk Story
PLOT: Songwriter David Seville is working on a song when he gets an unexpected surprise. A mother chipmunk has left in his care her three babies because there's a food shortage for the winter. So David opens up his heart and home to the babies (Alvin, Simone, and Theodore). But the supposedly sweet "babies" end up wrecking his house and getting him in trouble with the landlord. Dave decides he needs to up his financial status (so they can move), but he's having writer's block. The chipmunks help him come up with a song about a Witch Doctor. The record company rejects it, but the Chipmunks get it played on the air and he changes his mind and because of Alvin offer's Dave a five thousand dollar a year contract and a new car. All of a sudden the Landlord who before sent the Chipmunks to the pound (only to have them escape) is now all friendly and want them to stay in the apartment. But they move out to a bigger and better space.

MY THOUGHTS: That was NOT a 50 thousand dollar contract worthy song. Yes, it's catchy but 50 thousand dollars and a car? Which okay the car wasn't exactly a luxury vehicle. Then again there's the message about people that all of a sudden have a personality transplant when they find out your "somebody" now
