5 ⭐️- absolutely bat shit kink fest from start to finish. I’m kind of sitting here laughing, but I enjoyed it I guess.? Hats off to the author that actually made me like both of these insane women. Just go into this knowing that it’s unhinged and you’re just along for the crazy train of a ride. And the ending is actually sweet? What the hell did I just read?😂🤭🤭🤭

3.5 stars. Totally unhinged, and not the best editing, but I had a fun little time with this. Sometimes you just want to read about an insane lesbian contract killer and the pretty mob wife who's about to fall headfirst into a bisexual awakening.

I'm catching up on book reviews from... woof, an entire month ago, and I think it bodes well that I still have vivid, and mostly good memories of this one. I haven't read a lot of sapphic mafia romance, but this is a pretty good one, if you're looking for something short and bonkers. (Which is, by the by, also a good description of Katya herself.) Livvie is sort of stuck in limbo, in an arranged marriage to a man she wanted to love, but the spark quickly left their marriage. Katya kidnaps her as part of a burgeoning war between two families, and Livvie expects to be tortured and interrogated. And she is, but not quuuuuuite in the ways she was expecting. As far as captor/captive romances go, it does move pretty quickly. The writing wasn't my favourite, and there were way more errors than I would usually find tolerable. (Sometimes things would be phrased super weirdly, and I couldn't tell if the author was just trying to communicate that English isn't Katya's first language, or if they were just straight up errors.) But nevertheless, I really liked how shamelessly tropey and silly and sexy this was. The connection was hot and intense, and some of the lines really got to me. (I especially loved when Katya affirmed that her lesbianism isn't because of men being terrible; it's because she loves women.) Not all of the kink was my thing, but it was still fun.

A good way to pass the time! I'll probably read the second book in the series too.

I'm not sure how I stumbled across this book, but I'm glad I did. Dark sapphic mafia romance - no chance I was gonna pass this up.

It's spice heavy and has dark themes, but it was pretty exciting. It's part of a series and this was a good starter. Ruthless mob enforcer kidnaps the wife of a mafia prince. Neither of them expected the other to be their undoing. It was pretty hott.🔥❤️‍🔥💥

Plot summary:

One fateful night as Livvie is pondering the bordem and shackles of the life of a mobwife, Katya shoots her body gaurd and kidnaps her off the street. She takes her captive, her princess, back to her tower where she puts her princess in chains.

Then they catch feels.
Then Livvie gets kidnapped back by her husband who has found out shes been fucking Katya.
Katya comes to save the day and then cums again.

It was easy to read, digestible and set up who she was and potential for who she could be very well. (Sadly, that didnt last long).

She's like this the entire story until she goes back to save Livvie from her husband, so the final chapter?

For only 150 pages and 77p, it's fine? Personally, I wouldn't recomend it. There's loads of smut but it's pretty short and all the repative stuff makes it drag. I got half way through and commited out of curiosity for all these 4 and 5☆ reviews and to laugh at the one liners like this gem: "I let myself get led around by the pussy." Honestly, real.

1* for an okayish 365 days with lesbian sex.
