Actually, half of this book seems to focus on the couple from "Devil's Honey", which is fine, but also kind of a pity because the other couple is cute, too.

I really enjoyed this spin off, though not as much as Devils Honey. To be fair this actually seemed like a sequel considering the two main characters appeared a lot in this one. It didn't bother me I loved both couples but I wish Seto and Minoru had some more page time.

Another issue was the age gap. It wasn't a big one to be fair maybe four years. Seto is in college so I'd say he's about 18-19 while Minoru is still in school, second year to be exact, 14 maybe. It's just Minoru is the younger brother of Yoshino from book one and he just seemed so young. I didn't mind Yoshinos story because of his age, I get he fell in love with a PE Teacher but he was graduating soon so he also would be around 18-19. Then again Seto was very cute towards Minoru, he loved him a lot. And I did end up liking them as a couple.

Overall though it was a good manga. I read it quite quickly and I loved Yoshino's parts. The storyline was crazy but I find most manga storylines are so I expected that. Yeah the age and the fact that we didn't actually see the main couple that often were my only issues, preventing me giving this five stars. The art was amazing though.

I went into this a little unsure because I actually didn’t care for Minoru with the little snips of him we got in Devil’s Honey. What sold me was Seto, I liked him from Devil’s Honey and I wanted to see him get a happy ending. This was an entertaining and at time embarrassing read (seriously Minoru LOL).

The good news is that I loved this. It was funny and cute and Mineru is adorable and Seto is hot 80% of the time and good looking the other 20. And that was good for my heart. Also, I got to check in on Sensei and Yoshino who were just as lovey dovey as they were in Devil’s Honey. I got the exact feeling I expect to get from from her work; the feeling that keeps me going back for more.

The bad news is, well, first, there isn’t enough Seto and Mineru. The majority of their story involved Yoshino and, by association, Sensei. Second, there was too much Sensei and Yoshino. I know this sounds like the first one, but what I’m referring to with this is that, in addition to the main character’s story being built around the relationship of two other characters, all but one of the extras was focused on the secondary characters. Third, although Seto and Mineru are only two years apart, the difference between their maturity and experience level often seems five times that. And that makes me uncomfortable.

And last, although I had similar reservations with Devil’s Honey because of how I feel about student/teacher relationships in general, the extras for this volume did nothing to mitigate that and everything to pinpoint why I was not totally put off by it. And that is because rather than the aggressor being the usual pushy bratty younger seme (which does nothing but get under my skin), it was a happy-go-lucky, flirtatious, and sometimes sulky younger uke (which is very close to a dynamic that, though I’m not entirely fond of, was something that I wanted to see, particularly in a teacher/student relationship). A failing on my part for not really noticing that all the countless times I read Devil’s Honey.

Oh, and the main story seemed a bit rushed. I’m sure if there was less Sensei and Yoshino, that wouldn’t be the case.

So, what? Should I mention that I’ve read it several times already? I don’t know. It’s a good story, I love it, but I can’t ignore all the issues I have with it. Should I also mention that I don’t understand the title? Maybe it's lost in translation.

A brilliant sequel to Devil's Honey!

I've been waiting for Minoru's turn at love and this sure didn't disappoint! What a beautiful story it turned out to be! I was a bit sad that Minoru and his love didn't get to go all the way but hopefully the author decides to do a third volume because of that reason. Aside from that I totally recommend this to all yaoi fans.

Pretty classic, but I really enjoyed this! The art is great and the story is... Well, it's teacher/student and little brother/older brother's friend. Still well done. Not exactly the same as all the others, so I was happy about that. I love the stories from different characters' viewpoints.

I rate this manga 5/5, but that may be because I'm biased and I love anything that has to do with this mangaka. Story and characters were memorable and hilarious, this is a yaoi to definitely add to your shelves!

They were both a bit on the bland side, even as light BL goes, but the wee extra jealousy-angst for lil' bro edges this one ahead. Plus, the big dopey cuties are the best, right? When Isaku Natsume's boys are cute, they're cuuuute.

Very cute, and lovely art, but I felt a bit lost at times. I didn't know Yoshino's story 'Devil Honey' came first. There was no link between the two, when buying it, so I constantly felt like I was missing something. Will go back and read Devil Honey, to see if it fills in those gaps.

Wish I had read Devil Honey before reading this one since it's a spin off and the way they talk about the brother and his romance made it obvious so I was a little out of the loop. The story still stands fine on it's own though and I thought the romance was cute even if it was a little basic.

There is a lot of Yoshimoto considering this is his brother's book. I think I liked the first one better, but this one has it's nice moments as well. The whole thing is probably 3 stars, but I am giving it more because nostalgia got to me.
