This book was a wild, magical ride from start to finish. Wolves with fierce loyalty, dragons with untamed power, and an entire world brimming with supernatural beings—I was hooked from page one. The author weaves together danger, romance, and jaw-dropping twists in a way that kept me up way past my bedtime.

ARC Review: I had a little trouble at the beginning following the story but after the first couple chapters, it was golden! I binged this book in a day and ended up absolutely loving it when I was a little worried at first. The spice, the plot, the friendships that develop throughout the book. Wonderful! I was fortunate enough to receive this as an arc. A.J. Hanna has truly created an amazing story here. Deeply rooted in Norse mythology, the story has all of the amazing romantasy elements with incredible world building. The attention to detail and incredible descriptions will make you feel like you’re right there with Astrid while she’s uncovering who and what she is. This story will have you feeling all of the emotions as the plot builds. This book is full of amazing characters, found family, great spice, and beautiful friendships, but don’t let your guard down! I don’t want to spoil anything so I will just say, I highly recommend this book!

I ate this UP!!
You MUST check the trigger warnings, A.J. hits on some very sensitive topics at the start of this beautiful story. As you progress in the book, you will see that it was all necessary to show Astrid's growth.

I did struggle in the very beginning, but I think that could have been due to many different things, but at around 35%, AJ kicks it into overdrive, and I didn't want to stop reading.

The depth of Astrid's character was shown very well on the page. I adored her from page one, though honestly! The supporting characters are also characters I found myself wanting more of!!!!

The details in this story will absolutely have you immersed in this world and want to take your time to meet everyone and see everything! I found myself smiling about things happening because she made them come to life and stand up off of the page.

The magic was beautiful, the characters real, the feelings it brought out were deep. The spice was very tasteful and didn't take away from the story at all.

In the end, I absolutely wanted more, I even told my husband, "I want about 200 more pages of this story!"

This is my first read by this author and I was not disappointed. Capturing my attention from the beginning with the riveting detailed writing, I could envision and sense the characters and storyline.

The world building, supernatural elements and storyline was fascinating. It takes you on one wild ride with your emotions. Your heart will go out to Astrid during her journey. The characters, friendships, romance, magic and storyline were remarkably weaved together. The unforeseen twists had me reeling and had me relenting to put it down until the end. Thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to book 2!

Wow! What a great read.. This story was so easy to fall in love with. It is action packed, mystical, it's got spice, wolves, dragons, what's not to love. The relationship between the 2 MC is so beautiful I was immersed from the beginning. Definitely easy to imagine this world she has created with such descriptive writing. It really was a haunting yet beautiful story about a girl who finds she is cursed yet powerful, her journey and a forever love. I can't wait to read more.

I give this a 4.5. A.J. Hanna had done an amazing story. If you are into romantacy elements, then this is for you. The detail in this storyline is awesome and makes you feel like you are in the story. I will say make sure you check the trigger warning as there are some.

Astrid is a god rare werewolf ancient bloodline. when her mother died at the hands of a nasty man then tortured her and mani her wolf white as snow blue eyes came to her when she was 23. She find out more when she tried to take the pain away and went to Helheim and learn so much about her family and bloodline and felt like 15 years not 3 days. This is a truly amazing story with twist and turns and how she is finding herself, her path and her mate.
Red a nurse at the hospital also Astrid’s new best friend showed her what a friendship and power feels like when asked not just taken.
Alastor married Astrid’s mom and tortured, raped & murdered her. Then him and his friends took turns and then did the same to Astrid.
Bo was a lead detective when they found Astrid and Andrew is Astrid fated mate also Bo’s son. Bo is more then a leader or detective. He’s a dad and is helping Astrid fine herself.
This story gives a lot of different emotions and love that it ties Norse mythology and history not happy about a cliff hanger but so ready for this journey and happy it hasn’t ended
