Pastry chef Lili Hart has always been the boldest of the Hart sisters. She’s ambitious, fiery, and finally ready to step out of the Hearts & Flowers spotlight to build something all her own. Her dreams are rising, her talent is undeniable, and her first solo event could be the beginning of everything she’s ever wanted...until Dominic Ballard walks back into her life.
Three years ago, Dominic left Taylor, Indiana, to chase his R&B dreams in Los Angeles, leaving Lili with only memories, questions, and an ache she never quite outran. Now he’s home for Christmas, grieving his father’s passing, and facing the possibility of a second chance at music.
Their reunion is anything but simple. The chemistry is still electric, but so are the unresolved feelings. As winter wraps the town in holiday magic, Lili and Dominic must confront the heartbreak, the music, and the love that never truly ended.
Can they rediscover each other as the people they are now and who they used to be? Or will the rhythm of regret drown out their second chance?
I think this might be my favorite book out of the series. Dom and Lili got their second chance at happiness. I really appreciated the time and care both Lili and Dom took to ensure they weren’t diving back in with other due to grief. I loved that Dom didn’t push Lili but patiently waited for opportunities to show up for her in ways he never had before
A sweet second chance romance that affirms going after your dreams! A romantic holiday tale with bold Lili being so caring and patient. It was great to see the honesty and transparency and embracing love.
