I have a lot of mixed feelings about Everything Changes. The story and message itself was important. There was significant character growth between the two main characters.
Unfortunately, I did not love the writing style of this book, and I will fully admit that could just be personal preference. For example, the beginning of the book had Cheyenne describing past events, and the next chapter had Zach describing those same past events. At another point, one scene happened, and the following chapters had the characters describing the same scene to their friends. Later on, a character was introduced, and several chapters later that same character was introduced again like the prior introduction never happened. There were a few other little plot holes that made the book harder to follow.
There were a few typos, some more glaring than others. Since this was an ARC version that I read, I assume those errors were corrected in the final version.

Everything Changes by Selina Violet, wow—this one hit hard. A beautiful, emotional ride through love, parenthood, and the curveballs life throws. Cheyenne and Zach’s story is raw, real, and full of heart.

I loved this book! It made me rethink my life in the sense that what I deem is 'so very difficult' is nothing compared to what someone else may be going through. It also reminded me that no matter how hard life gets there is a silver lining at the end even if it is different than what you thought it would be. This book made me laugh and made me cry. I loved the characters and got wrapped up in their lives.
