“Life with kids is an amazing adventure—one I would not trade for the world. One of my favorite times of the day is when my kids snuggle up on my lap to read a few books before bed. I absolutely love how picture books capture their imagination, make them laugh out loud, and bond us closer together. To be able to provide those moments for other families with my own books has become one of my greatest joys in life.”

Sibling bicker and silliness mount with every page to create chaos to smile with the entire way through.

Finn the Frog is getting ready for his sister's first visit to this book, which he now calls his own. He has everything shiny clean and is super excited when she knocks at the door. But his sister is a force to be reckoned with and, immediately, takes control of everything. Finn does his best to stop her, which breaks out into one little argument after the other.

It's a cute read, which draws the reader in, especially since Finn and his sister speak directly to the reader several times. In this tale, the book is the frog's home...something which works quite nicely and packs imagination. When Finn's sister comes in, the clash with the calmness hits hard and immediately draws smiles. It's clear that the sister is going to cause all sorts of stress, and that Finn is going to have troubles dealing with it. The back-and-forth between the two isn't only silly but reminds of the usual sibling situations, which can arise, especially when they hold very different temperments. Still, there's a sense of 'love' which can't be missed. It also shows that despite the huge clash, they'd never think of really parting from the other. So, there's a nice bit of sibling goodness right along with the humor.

The artwork is well done and brings each scene across well. It's enjoyable to flip through the pages and follow the story just through this visual tale. As for the text, it's not light but fits well to slightly older audiences (5 and up). It works nicely as a read-aloud. As for a read-alone, readers will need a fairly good grip of their words. Plus, the dialogue between the characters is shown through colors in the font. When the sister speaks, the words hold a pink direction, while Finn's are black. It took me a second to realize what was going on when I first read it. Also, the frogs refer to the reader as 'kid', which will work with some listeners better than others.

It's a fun tale, which is sure to put a smile on the right listeners' faces.

Loved the way the story unfolded.
Four Point Five Stars
I especially enjoyed how Finn and Fifi’s argument came to be. The way they made up was very cute too. Lots of heart and the sibling ‘love’ was beautiful to read, both for kids and adults.
The book had lovely illustrations, and made me reflect about my own siblings.
I am sure that the book would keep kids engaged till the very end. Lovely read.

Not so Great

This was boring and felt like it was trying way to hard. I'm not sure exactly what age group this is for but there is a lot of dialog and reading especially for little little kids. I wouldn't personally recommend this book.
