Boarding Pass is a fun, romantic novella that packs quite the punch and is the perfect read for the beach, the plane, or from the comfort of your own couch! For a novella, this author excelled in creating fully developed, endearing characters and wrote their story in such a way that it was believable and complete. Boarding Pass is a travel romance set in the backdrop of Paris and is full of warmth, humor, passion, and romance.

This is the first in a new series and this is Miles and Sophie’s story.
Miles and Sophie are in Paris for their individual reasons, and they cross paths in a bar, and are instantly drawn to each other.
This is a well written easy to read story, with opposites attract, a vacation fling, vulnerability, humor, witty banter, second chances, healing, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and heartfelt page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

A cute and fun novella with fabulous characters and the ultimate of romantic backgrounds when, out of all the bars in Paris Miles happens to walk into the one where fashion photographer Sophie was pondering her future. With Miles recently unemployed albeit extremely wealthy after selling his business and Sophie not long out of a long-term relationship that had lasted too long, both were a crossroads in their lives and wondering what lay ahead of them. Perhaps they could discover it together.
This was just a sweet and simple romance between two likeable characters. There was no angst or unnecessary drama between them, just an instant attraction as Sophie showed Miles her Paris. The spice level between them was sizzling but they were equally happy just spending time walking through the streets. My only issue with their story was the brevity. I would’ve loved to have gone on their travels with them and saw Europe through their eyes.

Miles and Sophie are both a little lost, but they find themselves and each other in Paris.. and it is SWOON! Billionaire Miles is on a journey of self discovery after selling up his company and wondering whats next in life. Sophie is in a similar boat, professionally successful but personally, at a crossroads she wasn't expecting. An instant connection with fate on their side, smooth and no drama for their beautiful chemistry.
A sweet and spicy novella, one I wish went on and on because I loved Miles and Sophie together, they just clicked! Looking forward to more Hearts without Borders from Kaylene.

What a fun read- short and super sweet. I am so happy that Miles got more page time as I adored him in The Flirt Alert.
This is the perfect story about how a little risk can give you the greatest reward. Miles and Sophie meet at a time where they are both at a career crossroads and a chance meeting helps them discover what could come next.
If you are looking for a quick read that makes you swoon, then check this story out. It will leave you with heart eyes and hoping for more adventures from Kaylene.

I absolutely loved Miles and Sophie. I hated the the French wasn't translated but it didn't impact the story. The chemistry was good and it was well written.

I am voluntarily writing this review after reading a free ARC of this novel via the author. BOARDING PASS is a short but steamy novella by Kaylene Winters which spins off her full length title, THE FLIRT ALERT. This novella features Miles, who was the best friend and business partner of Austin and the twin brother of Shay from that title. Miles Stojanović was at loose ends following the sale of his gaming company and his best friend falling in love with his sister. He had decided that he would travel to find himself and his new purpose. He began his journey in Paris where he found more than just a new life direction. Sophie Dumond was at loose ends herself. She had just received new amazing for her career, but it was falling flat. Sophie was smarting over the end of the relationship she thought would be her future. She was in Paris because she wanted the magical feeling of home, but instead found the future she thought had escaped her. Miles and Sophie met in a wine bar in Paris, completely by chance, and were instantly drawn to each other. They each had to take a risk on adventure to grab a chance at happiness. This was a cute, sweet, super steamy novella, and a loose end tied up. This connected stand-alone novella is an open door, first person, dual POV contemporary romance with tropes including meet cute, travel romance, opposites attract, fate, escape to find yourself, love at first sight, wealthy hero, independent heroine, healing through love, cultural exploration, and chasing joy. This is a quick and dirty love story with an adorable meet cute, explosive chemistry, and a lesson in the rewards of jumping in with both feet and appreciating new places and cultures. Neither Mile nor Sophie had were looking for what they found, and the theme of serendipity played throughout the story. The novella is easy to read and fast paced, which works given the length. The author didn’t get bogged down in extraneous details. I recommend this novella for readers who enjoy spicy contemporary romance with instalove plots.

Did you ever wonder what happened to Shay’s twin, who also happened to be Austin’s best friend? Well, get ready—because this amazing story is all about Miles and his journey to finding true love!
From the very first page, Kaylene had me hooked (she’s so good at that). Before I knew it, I was several chapters in and had no idea where the time went! The book opens with Miles, who has successfully achieved all his business goals and is ready to take the next step. The problem is, he’s not sure what that step should be. He leaves without expectations, and he definitely doesn’t plan on meeting Sophie—the beautiful woman who immediately catches his eye the moment he steps into Paris.
Sophie is in Paris to reconnect with her roots. She’s a few months out of a relationship that was comfortable but going nowhere. Her trip was supposed to help her find herself, and she never expected to meet the most handsome man she’d ever seen while enjoying a glass of wine. But Sophie and Miles share a connection that goes beyond attraction or fleeting feelings—it’s something people search a lifetime for.

This sounds like a fun idea.

Kaylene Winter brings just the right mix of heat, heart, and emotional depth to keep you turning pages. This was a short, lovely story that had me sighing almost constantly. It was just so good!!! Thoroughly enjoyed reading about these two and watching things blossom between them.

What a beautiful and fun novella this was to read. I loved Sophie and Miles and their romantic adventure. Two strangers and a chance meeting in Paris leads to them finding the love of their life and building a future together. Yes it was a quick read but there wasn’t any drama to contend with, just pure love and happiness and some very steamy moments.

Just finished an ARC of The Boarding Pass and it was the sweetest little romantic escape!
This novella had all the things I love in a quick read. Travel vibes, instant chemistry, and just enough swoony moments to make me smile the whole way through. The pacing was perfect for a one sitting read, which is exactly what I needed to get out of my little slump!
Even though it was short, I was very invested in the characters straight away and really enjoying their spark and connection. The writing flowed so easily that it felt like I was being whisked away alongside them, the perfect bit of escapism!
I wanted more! I could happily have read a full length novel about these two because it was fun and the chemistry so addictive.
If you’re looking for a light, romantic palate cleanser between heavier reads (or just something to lift your mood), I’d definitely recommend picking this one up 🥰

Boarding Pass was just a cute instalove book! When Miles takes off to Paris after selling his company to do some soul searching, who knew he’d find his soul mate! Sophia is in Paris after finishing up fashion week before she ventures to her next big thing when a little spilled wine brings Miles into her life. This book takes you through their whirlwind romance and is full of laughs, love and spice!

It's so lovely to see Miles again (he was a supporting character in ‘The Flirt Alert’) and I am so excited to see his happily ever after.
Both Miles and Sophia's life are in the air at the moment. He has just sold his company and the world is his oyster. He goes to Paris and meets Sophia at a Magnum PI themed restaurant. (How fun is that!!) Sparks fly and the chemistry is hotter than the surface of the sun. This is instalove at its’ best and *I love it!*. It's a quick read, but Ms. Winter packs so much in, it feels like a full novel.

Meanwhile, photographer Sophie is in Paris following a breakup, en route to visiting her parents in the French countryside. After an adorable meet-cute in a Tom Selleck/Magnum PI themed restaurant (BTW, I'd totally go there!), they end up spending an incredible night together that neither of them wants to end.
The one-night stand turns into Miles joining Sophie to visit her parents — and when you know, you know. There was a nice moment where Miles acknowledged how hard he was on Shay and Austin when they told him about their relationship because he thought it was too much, too soon — and he now realized how wrong he was because of his feelings for Sophie.

This was a cute and quick novella filled with spicy moments and heart to hearts. Miles and Sophie together are like the first taste of the holidays, sweet and spicy, but gone all too soon. Very much looking forward to seeing more from Heart without Borders.

I am an AVID Kaylene Winters fan. I have not read one of her books that I have not enjoyed. Boarding Pass is no different.. It is so well written.
Sophie and Miles’ instant connection is evident in the story that you can feel it when reading. Neither of them is looking for anything, but found it when they least expected it. I love the interactions from the very first time they lock eyes. Miles is just such a nerdy sweetheart that I was happy he got his own book. And Sophie is his perfect match. Their first contact in the wine bar sets the stage for this wonderfully “insta-love” book. I’m a sucker for romance, and I believe in love at first sight.
If you’ve never read any of Kaylene’s books, I highly recommend you do. If you’re a romance fan, you will appreciate this book. I recommend all of them!!

A conversation that started with Sophie’s spilled wine, which Miles helped her clean up, was the beginning of an incredible romance that would change their lives forever. The romance between Sophie and Miles is as sensual as savoring a decadently rich piece of chocolate, enjoying every moment. I absolutely loved reading about two lonely hearts who formed a once-in-a-lifetime connection in Paris and fell in love. Kaylene Winter’s books are always first-rate reads that consistently satisfy with a refreshing, enjoyable story.

This is a much shorter read than others I've read by this author, I finished it in an afternoon (dinner was late!).
We've met Miles before and left him at the end of his sister, Shay, and his business partner and best friend, Austin's, story. This book picks up from there, after Miles and Austin sell their very successful gaming company. Hungry Llama, to Jacoby International.
Miles is lost and doesn't know what to do with himself, so he books himself a ticket to Paris, somewhere he always wanted to go back to; now he can.
When he gets there he meets Sophie in a bar. She's also lost her purpose after being dumped by her boyfriend, Mark, six months ago.
They get on very well and find they're stopping at the same hotel..........

Miles is a man who has it all except for someone to share his life with so he decides to leave his business and head off to Paris. Sophie is a woman who is in Paris for fashion week and then has plans to visit her family. However, a chance encounter at a bar sets Sophie and Miles on a road to romance…This is one highly engaging novella from the onset, and it just gets better as the pages turn. If you enjoy a contemporary romance with spice set in the beautiful country of France, then this is one for you. I recommend this book and it can be read in one sitting.
