Ravage God is book two in the Godless Reign series, centered on the powerful and complicated De Luca family. This installment follows Elio and Isa, whose slow-burn connection is both heartbreaking and electric.

Isa has loved Elio since her teens. He’s her brother Valentino’s best friend and the brother of the Capo dei Capi. Elio, however, has always drawn a firm line, insisting nothing could ever happen between them. Isa’s life is suffocating—kept under tight watch, with only her older brother Tino as a source of comfort. Her father constantly pressures her to marry, but beneath the surface lies a darker truth: he is physically abusive, a secret Isa hides out of fear and shame.

Elio and Isa’s chemistry is undeniable, and their relationship is equal parts passion and anguish. The tension, loyalty, and forbidden desire make this book impossible to put down.

I really enjoyed this second installment as much as the first. My only note is that, like in book one, some of the intimate scenes lean a bit intense and less on the gentle side, which may not be for every reader. Still, the emotional depth, family dynamics, and gripping storyline make this a fantastic continuation of the series.

I’ll definitely be looking forward to what comes next in the Godless Reign saga.

𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔~

Ravage God is a standalone within the De Luca Las Vegas family. Elio De Luca (32) the second oldest brother and Isa Gambino (24) the sister of his best friend. These two grew up together and she has always had feelings for him but his feelings have just started to become more then friendly.

Isa seemed at first to be shy and quiet but as you read I get the sense that more then that her silence was a form of strength to her and a way to hide the secrets. I really loved the close relationship her and her brother had even with the age difference between them.

The Devil’s Wings MC and the person from inside the organization feeding them information becomes a danger not only to the family but to her as well. Isa father trying to force a marriage he has no right to force since her brother has already taken over in the family becomes something else that Elio is not going to allow. Things really take a turn and it gets suspenseful and the spice between the two of them is hot. I enjoyed that they already had the established friendship before things become romantic.

I really hope Romeo is next and maybeeeeee Nova?!?

This is Elio and Isa's story. Isa's had a crush on Elio forever, but he doesn't reciprocate. She's his best friend's little sister. Then she grows up. Her dad is angry that Massimo took over and promoted his son as head of the family. He's controlling and wants a return to power. He tries to use Isa to achieve his goal. There's an uncurrent of the old guard and the catty women that seemed to be skimmed over in this one. I'm hoping we get to see her brother's book also. It answered some questions and left some opened ended. The issue I had was Elio seemed to take forever and also knows he should have immediately addressed talking to her brother so the result of those actions didn't explode as much as they could. Oh, I liked this one. It wasn’t a typical arranged marriage mafia romance. No, the heroine’s older brother was determined that his sister not be pushed into marriage, and he was more highly placed in the mafia than their father. Isa didn’t get to go out and date or do most of the things that girls outside of mafia life do. But she did get to fall in love. With Elio, her brother’s best friend. There were complications, including her father and a secret she was keeping. And I loved every minute of it. It was original, very fresh. VT Do can write and I love their work.

Not as good as the first serious story problems. I enjoyed the first book, but didn’t love it. It was good enough for me to want to try this one. The FMC was just kind of blah. There is no spirit or fight to her. Her silence on some things made zero sense. I could understand certain things but then it just went too far for too long and I lost all patience. I am also a big stickler for timelines and it seriously made no sense no one noticed she was covered in bruises on multiple occasions. The MMC was marginally better but he doesn’t really pursue her he kinda just lets events unfurl and doesn’t exert his will over anything. The worse thing is the story problems. The plot moves way too slow and it starts to feel like pure wash rinse and repeat smut. The believability of some things was an extreme stretch at times. Basically there is very little story here and the author is forcing it to be a full length book.

Ravage God grabbed me from the start with Elio De Luca and Isa Gambino’s forbidden pull toward each other. Elio is cold, controlled, and magnetic, while Isa has a quiet strength that hides far more than it shows. I loved how her silence felt intentional, almost like a shield, and the bond she shares with her brother added depth to her character. I just adored her character and was rooting for her.

The tension between Isa and Elio builds on years of history, which made the shift from friendship to something more feel intense and believable. There is danger circling around them, family pressures pushing in, and every moment together feels like it could ignite. The romance is both emotional and hot, with plenty of suspense woven through the story.

I’m an avid fan of VT Do and Ravage God is one of my favorites! Elio and Isa have known each other for years: he’s her big brother’s bf, she’s had a crush on him forever, and she’s hiding secrets from both of them. I love the tension between them, the gradual transition as she tempts him, and the protective nature that is enhanced as his mind follows his heart.
Their banter melts my heart, made me smile, and her secrets hurt my soul! Elio is a true alpha, a great brother and friend, and he’s a ruthless enemy of anyone who endangers his family! The story is perfect, the spice is exquisite, and their relationship is threatened by someone who should be her protector! Mafia life, betrayal, danger, and suspense keeps every page an adrenaline rush, but their passion owns me! Well done!!.

This one was an emotional ride for me. In this book you get first crush, first love, first time, tough family life and finding your person, and I enjoyed this books so much from the first page.

Isa has loved Elio for the longest time - ever since she was old enough to understand what love is and what it meant. But Elio didn't feel the same, or so her thought. Until it practically knocked him in the face. Now he would do anything to make Isa happy and his. Which will not be easy, given the life they've been born into.

I just think this book is brilliantly written, with absolutely amazing characters; and to see how Isa and Elio's relationship grew and deepened was just a joy to read.

This is the second book in the Godless Reign series. It's a standalone novel and it's not a cliffhanger (Thank goodness). I've read a couple of books by this author from her previous series and I really liked it. So, when I saw the opportunity to read her latest work, I jumped at the chance and I am so happy that I did. This dark romance had angst, danger, spice that burned deeply, and delicious tension. The story itself was pretty nuanced and the two MCs well fleshed out. It had me fully engaged in the story and turning page after page. Overall, It was a great read and I would definitely recommend it.

This is book 2 in the series featuring the DeLuca family and it does not disappoint. Isa is the daughter of a former underboss, forced into retirement before he was ready to give up his position. Her sheltered life is a lonely one and no one knows what goes on behind closed doors. Isa's only outlet is her brother, Valentino, and his best friend, Elio DeLuca. This is the story of a childhood crush that has grown into more, but Elio can't see past the little sister history. I loved how the author didn't rush their romance and really gives the reader a view of what Isa's life is like. This made the overall story of family drama and suspense more developed.

Tensions simmer with the old guard and catty women, though these are only lightly touched on. Elio takes too long to act on his feelings and delays talking to Isa’s oblivious brother, causing avoidable drama. The story resolves some questions but leaves others open, potentially for a future book about Isa’s brother. The pacing feels slow at times, but overall a solid read.

A delightful story about being in love with your brother's best friend. That's Isa's situation. She's had feelings for Elio for so long and is in love with him. He doesn't see her. When the situation changes, nothing can stop her, not the fact that he's her brother's best friend or that he disagrees. She goes for it and does everything she can to get him. Their journey includes bumps and setbacks, but ultimately, they find their salvation. A fantastic story with plenty of drama, romance, and steamy moments.

Elio and Isa are perfect together. This book is full of heat and love. Also a lot of mafia danger. I had a hard time putting this one down. I just had to see what would happen next with Isa and Elio. Isa was the perfect heroine, starting out delicate and defeated only to slowly grow into a strong woman. Elio was the perfect man for her as he allowed her to be herself and gave her some freedoms. I highly recommend this book to all mafia dark romance readers.

It's a fantastic, age gap, brothers best friend journey that completely pulls you in immediately and keeps you tightly in the story until the end. It's a suspenseful, intriguing, dramatic story with plenty of danger and action and let's not forget the spice. The chemistry between this couple is explosive. It's a friends to lovers sort of story and an absolute must read!

I really liked this book it was full of angst and is a was a good mfc. She was strong hit not and it was nice to see elio be soft. I do wish the mfc had spent more time with the girls from the last book given her brothers closeness to elio and his family but I also get why she isn’t .. over all it was a solid read and I’m super excited for the next book (I’m assuming is Nova and Romeo!).

Another sizzling read following the De Luca siblings, with Elio and Isa. He's eight years older and best friends with her brother. Both from mafia families, there is plenty of mafia drama going on with some violence too. From friends to lovers, Elio is a man who has always been protective of Isa but now adds possessive in this first love dark romance story. I wonder which sibling is up next?.

A fairly newish author for me. This is the 2nd book in her Godless Reign series. This is a dark romance with a substantial amount of angst and danger. It’s definitely a serious read. I would recommend. It kept me reading u til the wee hours. The characters were well developed and I found it easy to root for the couple.

Isa has always had a crush on him but Elio dealt with her just as his friend's sister but that is about to change. Enjoyed this book and hope to read more soon from this author.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I loved the action side of the story, but not so much the romance. The beginning was engaging, but once I got further in, the FMC became frustrating, at times her actions felt illogical to me. The relationship between the MCs also felt sudden so yeah it wasn't very convincing, but well, it was quite entertaining.
