A cute spicy little romance with body positivity. Tabi was bold and playful; unafraid to go for what she wanted once she girded her lady balls, and she wanted the hot dadbod demon. Kaz was awkward and sweet, with not great self esteem but a dirty mouth. There was little plot and a lot of cozy smut.

This is a novella in the Ghostlight Falls series, and features demon Kaz, the local pet store owner, and Tabitha, a relatively new-ish human resident to Ghostlight Falls.
Kaz loves his job running Ruff N Tumble, the local pet shop. Life is good…except that whenever he runs into his crush Tabi, he always ends up awkward and fumbling. One day, a mischievous foxkin brings Kaz and Tabi together. Turns out that Tabi likes Kaz just as much as he likes her, and she decides to shoot her shot.
Suddenly, awkward and shy Kaz is anything but timid when things heat up between him and Tabi.
This was a short, sweet, and sexy story. I really loved these characters, especially the creatures Arlo and Mochi! The heat between Kaz and Tabi is fire in this drama free read that will keep you smiling (and/or panting) the entire time. And the epilogue!! It made me so happy.
Four stars because this was a fun little steamy story that added to the mythos of Ghostlight Falls.

If you would’ve told me that a novella about a dad-bod demon who runs a pet shop and has a crush on a human girl would be so hot I melted I don’t know if I would’ve believed you but then I read this story and WOW! Hot hot hot. Also super cute and what is it with all the animal companions in Ghostlight falls, they are simply just too adorable, a demon turtle who wears a red ballon and is called Arlo, I mean come on that’s adorable!

There wasn't a single thing about this I didn't love with my whole heart. It may have only taken me an hour to read it but this will be living in my head rent free for years to come.
Kaz'ron is just a super sweet demon that owns a pet shop in Ghostlight falls. Some people have described him as awkward af but that really comes to the surface every time he's around Tabitha. For the last year she has been in Ghostlight Falls and Kaz has been crushing haaaaard. He never could have imagined she's been oogling him too. With some fresh found confidence after a mid day shower 😏 Tabitha asks Kaz out and to both of their surprise he says yes.
A date to a 90s concert in the park is the perfect set up for these two and from there is picks up hottttt and heavy as they navigate their longstanding, unspoken desires. She never anticipated the filthy mouthed daddy energy from the hot dad bod demon and he never anticipated the inner slvt that sat right under the surface of the gorgeous curvy human that has kept him captivated since he first saw her.
Adorable animal sidekicks always get an honorable mention. Arlo and Mochi are the perfect animal bbs and yay for Mochi's antics that led to Kaz ass first in a puddle covered in mud 😂😍

This one was SO good. It tied in multiple locations and characters in Ghostlight Falls. Which was amazing. It was smutty and exciting to read. I devoured it in less than 45 minutes I think. It was sweet and cute too. So much packed into so few pages. I would totally read a more full-on book about these two from this author in particular and I am 100% going to check out more of her works.

Tabi and Kaz run right into each other. After crushing on each other for a long time, Tabitha finally decides it’s time to seduce Kaz’ron and ask him out. Spicy and sweet, this book was a fun super quick read. I always love Clover Holloway’s writing!
