I love this romantasy series! I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but this one was PHENOMENAL. The character growth, the expansion of this unique world, and getting to know more of the characters we met before—it all made for such a fantastic read.

I’m still completely obsessed with Alex and Steve. They are such badasses and their relationship is so sweet. Things were definitely heating up between them but I love that they never rush anything. Steven is the consent king, and I am so here for it!

Having the whole friend group back together was everything. I love the dynamic between them, and I’m also loving the new relationships that are forming.

The mix of magic, action, and character bonds kept me hooked the whole time. The dynamic of everything is so good, and I was completely intrigued as I tried to guess the twists and turns. I was anxious as hell and need more answers—but in the best way.

This series just keeps getting better, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

“We’re stronger together.”
“I’m with you.”

Alex and Steven have spent a lot of time together alone figuring out this new world. But not any longer now they are all in this together. But can they set aside their differences to be a stronger family and get back home. They finally have their friends and now they must help them navigate and become the family team they need to be. But their time is running out. Loved this found family and the characters coming into their own selves. Over coming obstacles because they all have the same goal to get home. I’m so interested in the world that’s like Minecraft and Jumanji it’s like the nostalgia I get from this story is everything!

Lost together is the second book in the serie. I was in shock after the first book. Didn't see the cliffhanger coming. The second book is a bit better but still leave you with the wish the next book was already done. I love the worldbuilding and the interaction between the characters. I think i even liked the second book even more. There is more development and the tension is going up. There is also a romance plot but it is not taking over the whole story. Also not spicy. If you like other worlds minecraft world fighting monsters this is a good recommendation. Loved it.

If you are a fan of portal magic, romantasy, and fated souls Courtney Rosaleen is a must read author for you. Lost Together is book 2 in her The Lost series. This book is a continuation of book 1 and Courtney knows how to pull her readers in. I never thought I would fall in love with a Minecraft inspired fantasy, but I am hooked to this storyline and all the characters. Courtney has a true talent for world building and this book drips in vivid imagery that creates a world like none I have ever read before.

Ali and Steven discovered just how deep their inner strength goes in book 1. Book 2 proves just how well they work together and can get through anything together. As new people have arrived in their world, their expertise proves more helpful and needed than ever. And it isn’t just new people who arrive. A new set of adventures, newly discovered monsters, and newly gained powers; a whole new level of crazy is revealed.

And even though there are new characters introduced, the story still very much revolves around Ali and Steven. I have fully fallen in love with these two characters. I am invested in their journey, bask in their love for each other, and truly want to see them find peace and happiness. Steven is a MMC that makes my heart swoon and Ali is someone that I want my daughter to be like as she grows up. I will never get tired of reading about these two! I mean, I need book 3 and their happy ending, but they will be characters I think about often.

Courtney is an author that I have been honored to get to know since her writing journey started. She has so much passion for the stories she writes and the characters she develops. And beyond the amazing worlds she creates, she is an author that I am proud to call a friend. I implore anyone who hasn’t read her yet to do so! And once you do, I dare you to not love her writing and story telling abilities.

As always, review any author notes before reading.

Book two in The Lost Series picks up where the first one left off. We get to see a bit of the outside world before diving back through the portal in a world full of mysteries. Some questions are answered while more pop up, especially at the end. More characters are added and they have to find a way to navigate being stuck together while figuring out how to survive in a world they don't know.

New powers pop up and play an interesting roll in the story. It's still not clear why they have these powers, but I think more will be revealed in the next book. Getting to see more of the magic and monsters was nice. I liked how there was more monster fighting this time. I hope to see more in the future!

While I'm not the biggest fan of the romance, there's lots in here that I think those in a younger reading bracket would really enjoy. I'm 30 😂 so what I enjoy in a romance differs from this book's target audience.

I'm not a fan of more than two POVs, so it was hard for me to connect with each character. But I know lots of people who do, so don't let that be a discouragement from reading this series. If you like having a lot of different perspectives, then you'll like this book!

I still have the same question from the previous book. Why are the characters so worried about dying when they'll just revive on the island? It makes a lot of things low stakes because of it. I'm not sure if they'll revive when they enter what's essentially the nether. If that's the case, I can see why it'd be high stakes in there. But in the regular world, I don't see why it's such a problem. I'd just ask my friends to collect my belongings and give them back once I revived.

Overall, I think this was a nice addition to the series! The mystery behind the world is what I find the most interesting. I'm curious to know why they're trapped there and how they'll overcome escaping (if it's possible).

"You're not alone out here. We're not just lost... separately, we don't have to figure everything out all on our own. We're lost together."

I was so excited to dive back into Lost to a Dream after being an ARC reader last summer, and it did not disappoint! This series has been such a fun and unique adventure, and the world-building just continues to impress. The rich details of the world the main characters encounter are captivating, and it really feels like the authors put a lot of thought into creating something immersive and dynamic.

In this book, we continue the journey with Ali and Steve, who have been trapped in this strange world for quite some time. They’ve gotten used to their survival-focused lifestyle, but everything changes when they come across someone new who has stumbled into their world. Suddenly, Ali and Steve must adjust from only worrying about themselves to caring for others and that shift adds a whole new layer to their adventure. The new characters, monsters, and discoveries bring this story to an entirely new level.

One of the things I love most about this series is the chemistry between Ali and Steve. The romance is still front and center, and Steve is absolutely adorable. I love how Ali embraces his sweetness and how their bond continues to grow, even as they face more challenges. And that ending! AHHH! The cliffhanger left me wanting more, but I’m excited to know there’s still more to come in book 3.

If you’re looking for a story that combines adventure, survival, romance, found family, and witty banter—without the spice—this series is definitely for you. It’s an incredible blend of fantasy elements, and I can’t recommend it enough. Can’t wait for the next book!

Thank you again to Courtney for having me on her ARC/Street team for book 2. I absolutely was a huge fan of book 1 so it's been a joy to join the journey for book 2.

🔹️My Thoughts🔹️
Well done @courtneyrosaleen you wrote an amazing book that left me wanting more! Lol again! This book ends in a cliffhanger. So I'll be patiently waiting for book 3 now. 🫣

🔹️"I'm with you."

We go back into this new world that Alex and Steven have been stuck in for a LONG TIME... Imagine skeletons, monsters, weird days, powers, and you can die and come back to life...
Alex and Steven's relationship blooms into so much more that I LOVE IT. 🔥 I love the raw and how honest they are to each other.
While talking about relationships, people show up and the chaos it creates can be hilarious but also scary.
The chaos will have you on the edge of your seat. I know at one point, I stopped everything I was doing and just read for like 2 hours straight. Like I had to get past this intense part. 😳

I could continue with every little detail that I love about this story but I won't so spoiling doesn't happen.

If you love the game Minecraft, check this out. If you love fantasy/romance, check it out. A book about adventure, survival, characters full of wit, and found family... CHECK THIS SERIES OUT.

I am absolutely OBSESSED with the world Courtney has created. It's absolutely captivating. It sucks me in from page one and I cannot stop until I devour the entire thing.

I love the nods to Minecraft, and expanding upon it and giving it a romantasy feeling. I loved the continuation of the story and the introduction to all the other characters more in depth. We got more POVs, and leaned some of the intricacies of some of the dynamics and relationships between the friends. We expanded upon the world we were introduced to in the first story, and the "mission" or possible way out of the world.

I loved watching the romance between Steve and Ali develop throughout the book. It was very age appropriate and so much yearning. I'm a smut girlie, but I didnt miss it at all in this story. I loved their dynamic, and their pace, and their consent conversations. I feel like this story is a great bridge in the gap between YA romance, and adult romantasy that has smut.

The ending has me SQUEALING. I am so excited to see where the story goes and how it progresses and to learn more about the characters and HOPEFULLY get some answers!

I give this book four stars even though I really enjoyed the continuation of their journey because it was chaotic and left me wanting more. The overall time of this book moves too fast and i feel like it needed 50-100 more pages to keep up or just needed to slow down for the length. The last book was filled with mystery, trust building, training, survival and romance but this one was different. Much of that mystery was gone and it was filled with chaos. Now the chaos was necessary for what takes place but I enjoyed it with more action and mystery. The first book ends with another person on the beach and I found myself calling Ali and Steven ‘mom’ and ‘dad’ throughout the book because they had to teach everything that they had learned crash course style. There is romance but it’s no longer slow burn/tension filled. Overall, I wanted a little bit more from this to keep it mysterious and interesting. Make sure to read the epilogue. I am interested to see how the story continues.

I received this book as an advanced reader copy for free and I am voluntarily writing a review.

ARC Review ✨

Out of all the ARCs I’ve read this year I was looking the most forward to this one…and oh man it did not disappoint. The world building is so beautiful. The imagery from book one was stuck in my mind the most and the imagery from book two was just as beautiful, permanently stuck in my mind. I don’t think I’ll stop day dreaming about some of those visuals for a long while. The character development was so entertaining and the found family had my heart melting. It was so fun to follow this journey with the group and see the magic expand throughout the story. I expected a cliffhanger but man oh man I didn’t expect that! I actually don’t know that I can pick a favorite quote for this one…it was incredibly hard not to just highlight the entire book! But, I will say as far pet names go, “my little warrior” is my new favorite. I absolutely loved this book and I will be patiently (or impatiently) waiting for the next one! I am honored to be selected as an ARC reader and will be encouraging everyone I know to read this series!

Thank you so much to Courtney Rosaleen for an advanced copy of your new novel, Lost Together!

Such a GREAT follow up to Lost to a Dream!
Action, romance, found family, discovery of power… what more could you ask for?!
I love the way the story opens up throughout this book. The first book really set the framework with the detailed world building, and now Lost Together picks up perfectly where things left off. I was able to dive right in and get lost myself thanks to Courtney’s immersive writing. We join Steven and Ali as they navigate the joys and struggles of sharing the world they’ve had all to themselves… until now. New places, new goals, new monsters, new powers, and new mysteries. The character development is at the heart here and it’s so much fun to read! I am left with so much anticipation for the next book in the Lost Series.

Format: E-book

She does it again! Another excellent, immersive read by Courtney Rosaleen! She is truly a master at world building and creating tension, romantic or otherwise.

I truly loved the first book in this series, Lost to a Dream. While Lost Together was also a fun read, I found it difficult to invest in Ali and Steve’s friends that join them on their quest. Having nine people to keep track of and parentifying Ali and Steve put me off a bit. If I ever find myself in a social group that large I will, without a doubt, be the first to leave. Give me my peace.

That said, Ali and Steve continue to be everything I need and want in a fictional couple. They have great chemistry, they support each other, the yearning is palpable. I look forward to the next installment of this epic, minecrafty saga!

Thank you to the author, Courtney Rosaleen, for the opportunity to read and review an advance copy of Lost Together. All opinions are my own and shared voluntarily.

Oh boy this book!!! I was so excited for this book after reading the first one and that cliffhanger, wondering who's on the beach? We learned the answer to that and so much more. I'm a big fan of the found family trope. Lost Together covers that in spades. More than anything else, I love the development of the characters. What they learn about themselves, learn about each other, learn how to work together to survive, etc. I also enjoyed the progression of the journey they are on to no longer be lost. Also a big fan of games and trials, and I feel like we are going to embark on that soon. So excited for the next one. ❤️ Courtney, you are amazing.

This is book two in a series of six (?) books so it appropriately gets into the relationships and group dynamics while welcoming more friends to this strange and dangerous world.
I highly recommend reading Lost to a Dream first. I like that this story didn't repeat too much from the first book and kept the action and character development going.
Things I loved in the first book and was glad to see were still in book two:
- creepy monsters
- magic and the discovery of special skills
- strong world-building

OMG!! How am I supposed to wait for book 3!?!

I absolutely love Alex and Steve! They are the sweetest couple! Things are getting spicy, but only as fast as Alex wants to go. Steve is always checking. (swoon!)

I realize the title is Lost TOGETHER, but I didn't expect all TOGETHER!! What a twist. Having so many characters can be difficult to follow, but this story is so organized that it is super easy to follow and love every character. Each person has a role, and I love how the role matches the character's personality!

This series needs to be in your hands, NOW!!

Lost Together

This was an amazing book! I'm not usually into fantasy type of books but this one sucked me in. I can't wait to find out more of what's to come while they are still on the island and I want to know if they ever make it back home. It's crazy how long they have been stranded and everything that has happened. I'm trying really hard to not give any spoilers so just go read this book but make sure to read book one so you know what's lead up the chapter one in this book. Happy Reading Everyone!

The chokehold this series has on me is unreal. Admittedly, I have never had an interest in Minecraft—not for lack of effort on my Husband‘s part—yet here I am asking him to set up a server so I can play with him after reading this series, even though I know a part of me will be disappointed that it’s not this world that Courtney has created.

TL;DR: even if you don’t enjoy Minecraft, you will enjoy this book

This amazing follow-up to Lost to a Dream solves the mystery of that cliffhanger in book one and gives so much more!

I love this series; the characters, plot, magic, and adventure are all top-tier, and it's definitely a must-read!

Lost Together continues Alex and Steve’s story as they fight to survive and untangle the mystery of the world they are stuck in to find their way back home to be reunited with their friends. The cliffhanger secret from book one is almost immediately answered, and let me tell you, I was kicking my legs and giggling to myself because it was so good! It wasn't what I expected, but even better!!

Lost Together is filled with action and adventure, and grows on the crazy good world-building found in book one. The magic gets stronger, the enemies harder to beat, and the mystery of this world gets more intriguing as more of it is uncovered. We meet new 'characters' along the way, and learn more about the secrets of the world that Alex and Steve have been stuck in, fighting for their lives.

If you didn't know, this story is inspired by Minecraft, and you can definitely see that as you read! I loved it, and was left with so many questions and so much anticipation for the next chapter!!

This series is so good and I can't wait for more!

Courtney, you did it again! This book was WONDERFUL and I couldn't put it down. There were plot twists after plotwists making the story of this book even more phenomenal. There was a significant character growth from Ali and Steven, shown in their actions with the world they are living in and with each other, as if they were one soul 💚

The action of this book was amazing with immense detail about the world, the monsters and the magic, like the reader was viewing it from the eyes of the characters.

My favourite parts were the enigmas they had to uncover to leave that world and the fighting scenes (trust me, they were out of this world).

Courtney's writing style is very detailed but exciting, leaving the reader wanting to read more and more ✨️

Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this amazing book 😍
