Sent to live away from his birth parents at a young age, Quinn Brodie-McKaughan wanted for nothing. He has a career that lets him see the world even if it’s strenuous and, at times, harsh. But everything is nearly taken away one fateful night when his car is sent careening off the road and he’s left in a coma. One that he might never awaken from.
Susan Ellington was the therapist hired to work with Quinn. What she never expected was to fall in love with a man she’s never even spoken with. Even worse—she fell in love with Quinn’s best friend Jordan as well.
When Susan gets fired and Quinn mysteriously awakens, Jordan Connors has the task of tracking down the woman he knows is the key to his future happiness. Not all that surprisingly his best friend feels the same way. Now all they have to do is convince her that happily ever afters do exist.
A Siren Erotic Romance [Siren Ménage Everlasting: Erotic Ménage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, fairy tale, HEA]
What did I like? I like that she didn't have to choose between the two, they were able to work out a way that worked for them. The lack of jealousy and the way she made time for both of them was good.
What did I not like? His mother needs an attitude adjustment. There was a bit of repetition with the dialog.
Recommendation: I enjoyed this read. I might have to go back and check out the others in the series. It was an interesting twist on the fairy tale.
The first 20 or 30 pages always starts out decently, setting up the story. Unfortunately, then the author adds in dialogue, and it is without fail the most ridiculous string of nonsense ever written. In addition, major plot details change from chapter to chapter. The premise for the stories are good, but the execution is lacking.
Words can not express how much I loved this book!! To be honest, I expected it to be a lil cheezy....corny even but boy was I so happy to be wrong!!!
If I only had 1 word to describe this it would be HOT!!!! but thank you lord I can use more than one! This book had me squirming on the edge of my seat! It had it all, I was laughing at times, in tears in others and I had so many heart twinges with this one that I thought we would need to call 911 for me a time or two.
Emotional roller coaster ride for sure!! I loved the story line, it hooked me from the first few pages. What a great story concept. The characters were great, their dialogue flowed really well and the emotions that flowed from the pages were fantastic.
I never wanted this story to end! I want to see more of these three. Talk about panty melting, tongue wagging, bunch of male yumminess that really got the heart pumping and blood racing! I can not wait to read more from this author as long as they are as good as this one was.
Would I recommend this book? Oh hell yea!!!
Would I read more from this book? If the other books are as hot as this one....Oh yea!!!
A sexy spin on Sleeping Beauty, definitely a fairy tale for adults. Gorgeous model Quinn is left in a coma after an accident and Susan is hired by his parents to be his live in therapist. Susan falls for Quinn while taking care of her sleeping beauty and also ends up falling for his best friend Jordan who visits weekly. Something horrible happens to Susan and she is mistakenly fired, but before she leaves, she rushes back to Quinn to leave him with a kiss. That kiss awakens Quinn who enlists Jordan to find Susan and bring her back. Jordan is more than happy to oblige since he has developed feelings for the sexy therapist. This is a great romantic tale of two men who love one woman, who in turn, returns their love. There is more to this book than just sex, but don’t worry there is great sex, there is also a good story of the three people growing together and building their lives together. I enjoyed reading this book and didn’t want it to end.
After Quinn was in an accident he was badly injured and it left him in a coma. Susan was hired by Quinn's parents to be his physical therapist. His best friend Jordan came to visit him often. Jordan and Susan got to know each other during their time together. One day, Quinn's parents fires Susan and she kisses him to say goodbye. That kiss wakes Quinn up and he sends Jordan to find her.
Just like most of Honor's books, I really liked this book. This is part of a series that plays off of fairy tales. This one is of Course a play on Sleeping Beauty. Yes it is a menage in that it is a relationship between 3 people. There is more story to this book then the actual sex, which I am not all that upset about. There are times that I skip over the sex scenes to get to more story. It is really a touching story if you give it a chance.
A grown up version of sleeping beauty with a twist. Our sleeper is a very handsome Quinn who was in an accident and placed in a coma but doesn't seem to want to wake up. Susan was hired to as his therapist to keep his muscles strong while he sleeps but is enchanted by his sleeping form and the story's told by Jordan. Jordan is Quinn's best friend from childhood who stays by him while he sleeps talking ,trying to reach his friend and give him a reason to wake up. While there is no poison apple or evil queen, there is a lot of hostility, secrets, drama and nosy reporters. While the sex scenes were hot, they were not the main focus of the storyline. The relationship between our three characters, the humorous byplay and their efforts to build a lasting relationship together are the story's foundation. This was an enjoyable read that kept me engaged all the way to the end.
What did I think? Above all else, I think Ms. James is a master storyteller! She makes you wish you were right there in the story with all her other characters! Sleeping Beau is a side dish of the fairy tale! An Adult fairy tale! I loved it!!!
