⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Absolutely Captivating – A Masterpiece of Emotion and Storytelling
Where to even begin with this review? One day, I stumbled across S.J. Taylor’s live and listened as she spoke about her books. Something about the way she described her stories instantly drew me in—I bought the trilogy on the spot. What I didn’t know that day was just how deeply I would fall into this world she’s created.
The Price of Loyalty isn’t just a story—it’s an emotional experience. From the very first page, I was pulled into a world full of love, pain, growth, and heartbreak. It’s a raw, honest, and beautifully written journey through the highs and lows of life, love, loyalty, and everything in between.
This trilogy is more than a series of books—it’s an adventure. A love story. A tale of trauma, healing, tragedy, and triumph. I found myself not just reading it, but living it. And when I reached the last page, I struggled to leave the world behind. That’s how powerful S.J. Taylor’s writing is.
If you’re looking for something real, something that will tug at your heart and stay with you long after you finish, this is it. I can’t recommend it enough. S.J. Taylor is a name to remember.

This book sent me through a roller coaster of emotions, incredible read from start to finish so much action and drama.

Again the characters were very well written and the building of the story was insane

Sj knows how to mess with your emotions she writes insanely well I can officially say I will be slumping for awhile I'm sat with my mouth wide open in shock... I need more!!!

Beautiful!! I was skeptical about book 3 after reading book 2. I had felt that we were left with too many unanswered questions. What a task it was to round up this beautifully tragic story in book 3… BUT the author did it! This book reminded me of why I like to read. She truly did such a great job with creating a satisfying end to the adventures of Marius and Celine. The poetic way she wrote their emotions and what was going on for the characters was amazing. I feel so content. There were many hard moments, moments where you doubt whether this will end well. My absolute favourites remain Andre, Remi and Jeremiah. Loyalty personified! I loved the twins too. Celine, Celine, Celine, you grew up! From me giving her the side eye at times in Book 1&2 to giving her a round of applause in Book 3. I would happily buy this trilogy for my physical library! Well done S.J Taylor!

P.S. the intimacy was written beautifully, no lust & no explicit language. You did what they taught us in school to do, you used the English language in a way devoid of popularity and cultural norms! As a reader who prefers no spice, I say thank you!

This series is going to stick with me for years to come. The characters are so real. The world they live in feels real. There is pain, happiness, humor, yearning, and suspense. This book and whole series will take you on the best kind of emotional roller coaster.

The exploration of how trauma can impact someone. Does it break them? Does it then them into a monster? Can Celine and Marius ever find their way back to each other after everything that has happened! Can they ever trust each other again?

As soon as I finished the series I wanted to start back on book one just to stay in this world. For me, that is what makes a five star read!

I was given an eARC for Book Three of the Danger by Association.

The author has a beautiful way with words, and her descriptions and the moments with the characters were thoughtfully crafted. You can really feel the love that went into building this story of Celine and Marius. And I really enjoyed Ty and Tom characters and I really hope they get a spin off because they were hilarious!

I have finished. That was wild. Beautiful. Hurtful and healing. It’s a ride I will never be done with and will always be honored to stand in line for again. I’m literally going to sob. I am invested in these characters as if I know them personally. While I am sad to see them go I am so grateful to have read them, known them and loved them. You should be beyond proud of what you have made and I am sad for those haven’t read this series. This will be the series I forever compare others to. Thank you SJ
