Eluheed has spent months hiding his true nature while serving Lord Navuh. When he's granted access to the immortal ladies of the harem, he's drawn to Tamira—an ancient immortal whose exquisite mind captivates him as much as her ethereal beauty.
As their forbidden connection deepens, the island's iron-fisted order begins to unravel. Navuh's greatest weapons are turning against their master, and chaos spreads through the once-controlled paradise.
Wheww, book 99 was a lot and nothing at all! The previous book book had me at the edge of my seat meanwhile this save all the drama til the last 2 chapters.
Let's break it down 💁🏾♀️
Eluheed & Tamira - i spead past their scenes. Whatever was cultivated in the last book was lost.
Areana- I was over reading about the ladies all whining about being at the mansion 😑 and wanting to go back into captivity... over it! The attempt to show "why" she is with Navuh fell flat. She is twisted?? 🤦🏾♀️
Kian & Annani - is feel terrible foe the Goddess. She is surrounded by many and is still very alone. I love that even when she felt troubled she went to her son for comfort.
Carol & Lokan - is she pushing him to hard? Whats the rush. Lokan seems to want to slow down. Did yall catch that?
Hildegard & Tim - wait for what?? That's right, she took her man home! Well, not her "official amte" but ITS COMING!! Good for them!
Ruvon and Arezoo - This has been such a sweet and quiet courtship. I love this for them. Lil scary to the point of boring but all love matches dont have to come with a bang!Kalugal should be celebrating his men's boons more! Like the clan did. His Navuh is showing 😉.
"The final enhanced soldier has been found." "He was hiding in the ruins of Dr. Zhao's laboratory. They managed to break through the wall with a lot of explosives, and this one was inside. He's alive but catatonic. The suspicion is that he injected himself with something from the lab."
🤔 Seems to me that Navuh dropped the ball, yet again. Should have been a little more concerned with what that soldier took. 🤷🏾♀️
𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀: Paranormal Romance, Age Gap, Fated Mates, Forced Proximity, Sci-Fi, Second Chance 𝗣𝗢𝗩: Multiple, both the main characters, secondary characters & previous main characters 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁: Ebook
The book count for this series may seem daunting since this is the 99th book, thankfully the way IT Lucas organizes the series is by having the books are set in 3-4 books in a mini-series that revolves around a main couple. There are often side characters & couples that you will see develop along side the main couple. The series does have an overarching storyline that continues through all the books so it is best to read them in order. These books are also told from the POV of multiple individuals, even many of the side characters or members of previous highlighted coupled. Each chapter clearly identifies who is telling their story so it is easy to follow.
This is the second book in Eluheed and Tamira’s story, and oh my goodness, I am loving the direction this series is headed. This book has a lot more action than I ever anticipated. Having chapters from the side of the big baddie gave some interesting perspectives of what is going on in this one. I cannot wait for the next book!
After the harem flooded from the earthquake, the women were moved to Navuh's mansion and were separated from Tony and Eluheed. While in the hotel bar, Eluheed learns from Navuh's scientist that the enhanced soldiers are planning a rebellion. Eluheed's vision of fire and smoke is coming true! A very suspense filled chapter in this series. Besides what is happening on the island, the Clan is also planning on stepping up ways to defend itself from Navuh's enhanced soldiers, right in Navuh's backyard! All the different plots are starting to converge as we get closer to finding Annani's love, Khiann. This book is a wild ride with lots of twists and turns that will keep you hooked from start to finish.
I loved this episode/book. It was interesting getting to know more about Navhu and Areanna’s relationship and the crazy world they live in. On top of that, Elias/Eluheed’s story progresses and hints to what he is searching for abound along with the sneak peek of the parallel series in the works. I was also thrilled to hear more about the home team and how things are progressing there. And finally, I was thrilled to no end to hear that the series isn’t anywhere near finished! Yaaaay! There are so many stories being told here that builds this world so well, it’s so easy to get lost in the awesomeness that is this series. I love every minute and every detail.
This series just keeps getting better with every book that comes next! When the harem floods, Eluheed does everything he can to help get everyone to safety. While Navuh seems to be more worried about getting a couple of trunks out than saving lives. Now, everyone has to move to the other side of the island, until repairs are made. The ladies stay in Navuh’s house while all the others are in the hotel. Eluheed meets the scientist in the hotel bar and learns of the rebellion that the enhanced warriors are planning, and it all falls to chaos shortly after. This book was fast moving and exciting. It was good to get a little more insight into Navuh and how he works. Looking forward to the next book!
The past few books have been especially exciting, and this one just keeps the momentum going. We're getting a new perspective in the story that was much needed. Eluheed and Tamira's love story occurs on the Doomer island, which means we get more of Areana and Navuh. Isabell has done an incredible job with making me feel such conflicting feeling about Navuh. The end of the book had some fast-paced action, which had me unable to put the book down until I was done. At book 99, I find myself just as feral for each new book in the series as I was at book 9. I would argue even more so now since I'm so invested. Another immediate five stars!
From #1 to #99 these books are the best read and captivating stories I have ever read and I hate to see them finish. Book #100 I know will be just as gripping as all the others, I hate to know that I will not be able to follow The Children of The Gods Paranormal Romance Books - IT Lucas you are by far the best writer of a romance series and I hate to see it coming to an end. I know the next book in this series and all the other books you have to write will be just as captivating as all the rest. Keep them coming. I hate to see this series end there is so must more I would like to know happens......
How does she do it?? Each book and each story arc is completely captivating. Add in the side stories, the extra series that tie into or are inspired by the original series, and the huge world and universe needed for the stories; and I become convinced that our dear author both never sleeps and never stops writing. How else could she be this prolific and this fantastic? As usual this was impossible to put down not only for the characters but because the three stories are all compelling and rich in nuance, drama, romance, and relatability.
Dark Shaman: Love Found (Children Of The Gods Book 99) by I T Lucas. Tim is now an immortal but after 2 weeks in a coma is like a skeleton. Kalugal has an idea for housing and training for the army they want to build. Eluheed has foreseen the island burning so when the enhanced soldiers attempt a coup they are stopped but now Eluheed sees another problem brewing on the horizon but not what it is about.
This trilogy is such a wonderful addition to this saga! Seeing everything that is going on with Navuh, Areana, and the harem is greatly appreciated! I’ve always wondered why Areana stays and didn’t feel any of the previous times it was brought up was quite enough. But spending time over these last two books has brought a new layer to the story that I’ve been missing! Can’t wait to see what happens in book 100!!
This book really focused on relationships. The relationship between Nahvu and Areana is -" How to Love a Monster." Also, the revolt of the Super Soldiers was very good action. Eluheed revealing his origin added another mystery to the story. I also liked the budding romance between Tim and Hildegard. They are fun, especially since he is such a jerk. Looking forward to reading book 100 and what happens on the island.
With the ladies displaced from the harem, there are many obstacles to navigate through. The feeling of safety is no longer there and the many changes to their lives causes them to be very unsettled. Add to that there seems to be some threats to the island coming. What is going to happen? Will they survive? Will they escape? Will Eluheed and Tamira be able to finally be together? So many questions that need to be answered. And again, the next book cannot come fast enough.
Her writing only gets better I’ve been waiting for Anani to finally find he khiann but her last two books has made the wait exciting. Letting us into the harem of the villain in her saga of the gods. I thoroughly recommend this series of 99 books plus more to come the (children of the gods) my only wish is if the author could write faster than my reading. Seriously though if you like fantasy romance I thoroughly recommend this one.
The drama and excitement are back! Lots more drama! I'm talkin' nail biting...heart racing...It was good!
We see more of Navuh and his domain... He is certainly nuts, but I found myself kinda rooting for him...
We find out a little more about Eluheed, but not really who he is or how he's connected to the bigger story. I hope #100 keeps the momentum going. (I can't believe I've read all of these books!)
Dark Shaman: Love Found, Book 99 of the Children of the Gods series by Isabell Lucas @itlucas_author - You must read this book serial in order from book 1!
OH MY GOODNESS! What an amazing second book about Eluherd & Tamira! Tropes: Contemporary, Paranormal (Gods/Goddesses/Aliens), MF, Harem Captive, Overall Storyline Arc For The Series, Is This A Fated Mate & A Cliffhanger!
I love that we're viewing the Doomers Island. Eluheed and Tamira have me on the edge of my seat. What will happen next? Honestly, this series is becoming even more and I did not think that was possible. I am eating up this series and hope it goes on for the rest of my life quite honestly haha. Favorite author-favorite series.
It took a little while for me to get interested in this book. Not sure what it was but there seemed to be something lacking in the progress. Eventually everything started getting exciting and I was sorry the book ended. I did enjoy it and I'm looking forward to book 100.
I really enjoyed this book. It is a different vibe that gave me a look at characters we don’t usually get to know this well. It also had more action and suspense because our villain ended up saving everyone. He did it out of selfish reasons but he could have escaped with Areanna and left everyone else to their fate.
99 instalments and not a moment of boredom! The author continues to fascinate the reader with new complex characters, worlds and non stop intrigue. Sometimes the sexual content is a bit much, but the scenes can be skipped easily. Strongly recommended, if you want to escape the real world for a few hours :-)
When things are working against what Lord Navuh goals for super humans backfires and they we bell and almost took over the island, he prevails but wants to keep these superhuman still get scientist who can modify them & make them compliant. In the meantime, the clan is coming up with a way to God self against Navuh and his insanity.
I'm so glad I found this Series of books. I have thoroughly enjoyed every single 1 of the books in this series. Every time a new book comes out it's like getting to find out what the family's been up to. Or where the next adventure is coming from. And who the next couple is, that's going to be true love mates.
Dark Shaman: Love Found is book 99 of I.T. Lucas's The Children of the Gods series. This book is full of intense moments and suspense. Ms. Lucas never tells to bring something new to the series. Wonderful characters abound. The plot twist and turns keeping the reader interested.
Suspendful, emotional, can't wait to read the next book#100. Love is really blind makes you accept lots of things that you start making excuses, defend your partner etc... I really hope that Sounded && Tamira find a way out and are able to take, Tula, Tony and any of the other Goddesses that want to leave.
Seriously! I can't believe it's been 100 and in 3 days it'll be 101! I'm pumped! I have thoroughly loved this series and been entranced by the different story lines and mated pairs that have come from this series! It's a whole world within the real world and it feels totally immersive! I can't wait to read the next one!
Can't believe we finally get to know Eluheed's origins. Feels like forever that he's been keeping it a secret. Still, there's many more secrets and mysteries though. Wonder what's going to happen next. Can't wait to find out. Love these immortals and their stories. Can't seem to get enough of them. Must Read Series 📚 Enjoy
I have read all 99 love them hope there are 100 more hate the thought of this series ending I am 86 and get great pleasure from your books great writing thank you Marion Emery.
The series continues with many more twists and turns still to be investigated and explored. Looking to the next chapter in this long series. Wow, book 99 is read and we are looking forward to book 100.
Yet another book that enraptured this fan! I am already waiting with bated breath for the next one! If you have never read any of this series, I am saying to you to start from Book One, you will be addicted from the very beginning!
This book was so good. There was so much action. I can’t wait to see if Tamira and Eluheed find a way to escape the island. As evil as Navuh is there is a small part of me hoping that he would do better. At least for Arianna and his sons’ case
