It's not a very good addition to the series, slow and overwritten.
The book really only had two main plot points. This was just a filler book to move the story and plot line forward however it really didn't increase the value of the story except to see how the main character advanced. I was disappointed that the author used exposition in a lot of the main characters in their thoughts and dialogue. The main character didn't have a lot of agency because there were really only two significant arcs that happened in this book and yet it covered 350 pages... Which creates a lot of filler.
Really good book, fast paced fun story. I would give it five stars except it ended on a cliffhanger. That’s the only downside of this book that I have to say anything about. If you like main characters who are overpowered, you will enjoy this book. Now unfortunately I have to wait for the next book in the series.
It was extremely short, only one event happened, there was no progress on the main storyline, there was endless exposition and useless descriptions.. what a shitty sequel. I'll read the next one but my patience is running thin. I also hate how the author tends to repeat himself countless times. And another cliffhanger?? Seriously?? It's insanely annoying.
Fun story, mostly good hero, but almost every page has a grammatical error or typo. I like the expanding world and cast of characters. The story started off more shallow but fun, and is growing deeper by the book.
