Gold in the stories
Each parable contains layers of contemplation and life lessons. The characters are believable and personal. The great king is loving and gracious, bestowing his character on all who wish to follow his leading.

Good resource -- parables are a helpful way to come at truths in such a way that I was able to see things afresh. Most of them left me thinking about the parables.
