What an amazing and cute story. The small town charm, Cranberry Ridge is the perfect place for Kinsley to get away from her real world. The friendships she made were so easy and of course Miles. They get along so well and was just what they both needed without knowing. Thanks to Aunt Judy and her meddling things just fall in place for these 2 to fall for each other. Kinsley’s scary fight of survival in the woods and being rescued by Miles, made her see what she needed to do for herself. The decision to stay in Cranberry Ridge was not a hard choice.

First off, I want to start off by saying that I met this author in person at Chicago's Printer's Row Lit Fest, and she is the nicest person EVER. She took me on a journey of the stories each novel encompasses in the Cranberry Ridge Series, and I was truly tempted to buy every. single. one. I also had the pleasure to hear her inspiration from growing up in Michigan, and you could tell how much she valued this inspiration as it was intertwined into the book. Prior to meeting her, I had gone a little crazy at the fest with the amount of books I had bought already, so I decided to buy just the first one, Cabin 6, and I am so glad I did! This book was a fun read, and it was a heartfelt and wholesome story that really came together in the end. It had its dramatic moments for sure, but it was also light at times and refreshing to lose yourself in a small-town, little world. Also, kudos to her for following her passion as this is her debut novel!

I think at times it was a bit unrealistic just with how quick things moved within just a month, especially with the pet names and already having thoughts of "I can't ask this person to give up their life for me" in only a couple of weeks; however, it is also understandable how they became so close, hanging out every day for a full month, her becoming engrained into the town, and such, I just felt it was a bit rushed. There were a lot of the same words repeated to describe things, but again, I give her grace because it's her debut novel!! I did think the cat saving her in the woods was a bit cartoon-ish just because I don't know how realistic that would be, but it was cute. I do think it's a bit extreme for our girl to upend her entire life and her own law firm after a month for a man, but hey, if it's love at first sight, who am I to judge! Also, it's supposed to be a bit of fantasy land, and I love a getting lost in a book! Overall, such a great read, so lighthearted but also kept me on the edge of my seat at times. The characters had their goofy moments, and their serious ones. I would recommend this read!

This book is incredible! A 10/10, 5 star read for me. From the beginning, I was hooked and adored each of the characters.

Getting to watch both of them grow and form the relationship together, plus Judy’s meddling, and all of the small town charm was so fun. From the moment I picked it up, I didn’t want to put it down.

He needs to decide what he truly wants and will he try to find her. She is trying to get back to him while wondering where she should be. See how it will all go

Interesting book. I found the first person, present tense, writing style a bit uncomfortable, although I got used to it after a while. A long romance with vivid descriptions, which I enjoyed and a pretty excellent cat.

This story has interesting characters, connections, chemistry, family, friends and small town charm in it. It also has some meddling, character growth and working out what you want in life. I am voluntarily leaving this review after receiving an ARC from Hidden Gems.
