Just Us Girls: A Bible Study on Being God's Girl in Middle School

Rate this book
A 12-week Bible study on being God's girl in middle school. Are you a front row, straight A student? Are you a girly girl? Are you one tough cookie? Are you an easy going friend? Work through all twelve weeks, or take our fun personality quiz to find out which weeks will be most helpful for you.

Middle school isn’t easy.

It’s when you’re figuring out who you are, who you hang out with, and what you believe. It’s when friends become enemies and boys become…cute. It’s obvious we need some girl time. I’ll bring the discussion. You bring the chocolate.

We all need a day now and then when it’s Just Us Girls.

Life gets tough. People get mean. How do we push through? What does God's plan mean for our lives? What does it mean to be God’s girl in middle school? Well, that’s what Just Us Girls is all about. Together we’re going to search the Word of God and find out:

* who you were meant to be
* what to do about drama
* where to find a good friend
* how beautiful you really are
* why God picked you to change the world

Just Us Girls can be used as a personal devotional and a group Bible study.

"Just Us Girls offers big sisterly advice and practical road signs of what to expect ahead." Kathy Newman, Women's Ministry Leader at Calvary Chapel Windward

A Note From the Author
Throughout high school I've seen girls walk away, leave their faith, and end up completely shipwrecked spiritually and physically. I've also seen girls trust God, follow His leading, and live exceptional, adventurous lives in His glory. A lot of these challenges began in middle school, which is why I wrote Just Us Girls.

"I loved Hannah as a leader because she's young and fun and always positive and she's just an amazing influence on us." Peyton, age 13

"I'm so glad Just Us Girls talked about how we are all beautiful. We forget that God made us for who we are, and that we should appreciate the things that make us different." Tierney, age 12

Good Guide

This is my Dad' s account, but my Mom bought me this book. I finished in 2 , 1 hour per night, nights. So an easy read. I am doing the very helpful study guides as soon as I get a more mature bible. I had an argument with my mom and my sister, came in my room, and started reading to make me feel better. It worked, and in five minutes I was apologising and praying to God, asking him to forgive me. I would definitely recommend this book to middle school girls, ( 6th graders like myself ) or any girl looking for a way to seek God.

Amen

This was a very special book that my youngest daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed working through together this year. I'm planning to go through the author's high school books next year with two of our daughters.

Wonderfully written devotional, good for almost any age. I, personally, read aloud to my older two children who also gained from the experience.
Definitely recommend.

Good Resource

Love the questions and study part! Some of the stories/intros didn't work for my girls, but many of them did!
