Rate this book
Just when you thought the harrowing story had been told - another chapter finds its way to the surface in UNSINKABLE. From the torpedoed ship, the treacherous sharks and the perils of survival at sea emerges the timeless tale of a young sailor’s unsinkable faith in God to do the impossible despite the inevitable. Discover the inspiring account of USS Indianapolis survivor Robert P. Gause, QM1, whose front porch southern wit and unflinching confidence in God not only manage to keep him off the bottom of the ocean, but enable him to redeem a lifetime of good from incomprehensible tragedy. This gripping saga of survival at sea is tale of triumph against overwhelming adversity; a story so unimaginably true you'll swear its fiction. UNSINKABLE - Just because you have to abandon ship doesn’t mean you have to abandon HOPE!

One of the most inspiring, faith-filled books I have ever read. The historical combined with geographical of my beloved Tarpon Springs, FL made this a book I will not soon forget. God bless all who served and continue to do so. Highly recommend.
