Six months after the events of On Account of Wolves, Jack Rhodes has moved on from his career as a detective, settling into a new life he struggles to accept. When a series of crimes begins to stir echoes of the past, he must choose between faithfully playing his new role in life or whether to follow his old team as they begin conducting an unauthorized shadow investigation.
The first question that must be answered is what will it take to get Jack Rhodes off of the sidelines and into the fight to stop a killer?
The follow up to On Account of Wolves is another exceptionally well written, meticulously edited tale of crime and revenge with some very interesting character development, plot twists and surprises. Recommend both books and look forward to the third one.
