I received an ARC copy of this book from the author and even though I wasn’t required to post a review, I wanted to offer my honest, voluntary impression after reading it.

This is Volume 2, the next three books in the Cauldron Coffee Shop series about a witch who receives an old teapot from her best friend in the mail. There is some type of attraction she finds with it and she starts talking to it as if it’s sentient. When a stray cat she has called Spooky creates a mess she uses her wand to clean it up and restore it like it was before but a strange thing happens when smoke comes out of the teapot that was next to the mess and an ancient warlock appears. Turns out he’s been imprisoned inside the pot for three thousand years and Willow helps him get acclimated to modern life in England.

However there are people who want him confined back in the teapot so Willow and Azil have to try and be one step ahead of them.

This series tells of their interaction with each other and these next three books give us more information about this mysterious cult and why they seem to be after him. Willow’s place is broken into and his teapot is stolen and they need to get it back. These books tell how they do that and reveal more clues about his ancient clan he was a part of.

I have enjoyed this series thus far and highly recommend it as one those who enjoy reading about paranormals and fantasy will appreciate! Since each book builds on the story, you need to get and read Volume 1 first before reading Volume 2.

Volume 3 and 4 will follow in this 12 book series as each Volume contains 3 books in sequence so again you need to start with Volume 1 and read the next 3 Volumes in order after finishing it.

I found this series very entertaining and look forward to reading Volume 3 next to see what happens to our heroes and how they can outsmart these cultists who possess powerful magic more than they have!

Cinnamon Cocoa and Far to Go:
The aftermath of the teapot going missing is great amounts of fear and worry for Willow and Azíl though he hides his a bit better. It’s hard to live when you are being targeted and you don’t know by whom or when they will strike. Their goal now is to find more information on the who, try and retrieve the teapot and finally end the curse so Azíl can have a normal life.
A lot of angst in this book for somewhat obvious reasons. While their bond as a couple deepens so does the fear for the future together. I felt like I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the other shoe to drop just like Willow. Her emotions come alive. I get a cross between Aladdin and I Dream of Jeannie vibe from the series and I absolutely love it! Can’t wait for the next book!

Mulled Cider and No One is Wiser:
While the shadowy enemy lurks Willow and Azíl reunite and plan next steps. When Sabine invites them to Morocco and her dig site it seems like an excellent way to find more information about the curse and how to break it and shake the watchers that have shown up around Willow’s shop. In Morocco they discover that the tomb is that of the friend that Azíl helped which resulted in him being cursed. So close to the goal of freedom but will that bring the pair closer or drive them apart?
Very exciting installment! Lots of skulking by secret societies, Azíl returns to the land of his birth and worry and happiness war over the possibility of freedom from the curse. I love how this series develops and eagerly await the next book and the next part of the adventure!

Vanilla Frappe and Reasons to Stay:
This story in the series is a bit more angst filled as Willow and Azíl are separated. She’s back at the coffee shop and wondering if this is truly how she wants to spend the rest of her working days and he is still at the dig site translating and enjoying himself. While all seems placid the Sect is still a concern even more so when Willow is attacked in her shop. While not hurt gravely it’s still a concern.
This book definitely feels transitional. Building up towards either a big change or a big confrontation. I’m a bit confused by how much Willow seems to be conflicted about the coffee shop as it was made clear it was her lifelong wish to open one. Not my favorite book in the series as it was a bit on the morose side due to separation pains for the couple. Still full of interesting surprises from Clover, the Sect, Sabine and Azíl. So as I said not my favorite in the series but still a good read overall.
I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

We get to join Willow and Azil as they journey to Morocco and make some very interesting discoveries about Azil's past and the curse. There were also many conversations between Willow and Azil about supporting your partner's dreams and career choices, even when the decision might be hard to make. A particularly beautiful quote: "But I need you to realize that this is not about you, it is about me and where I can find my own contentment." It's not a break-up conversation, but a realistic sharing of each other's emotions and feelings and I really appreciated the rawness of the writing here. I enjoy how this series always manages to keep those fantasy plotlines flowing in the back of my mind while still letting our characters grow in their relationship and encounter realistic challenges that have nothing to do with their paranormal status. On the flip side, there are also many humorous lines as well, such as Azil, "Are you suggesting you put me in a box and post me to Morocco?" A very fun series that has a lot more to offer in each new book.

CAULDRON COFFEE SHOP VOLUME 2 contains books 4-6 of this 12 book series by Laura Greenwood. The characters are wonderful and the entertaining plot make this story an entertaining, quick read.

Get ready for magic, witches, a  3000 year old cursed warlock, secret magical Sect, ancient artifacts, and so much more.

Willow is alone at the coffee shop,  wondering if the distance from Azil will prove too much for their relationship. With his curse broken, Azíl is still in Morocco helping Sabine interpret ancient artifacts, but he misses Willow.

The curse is broken, but the teapot is missing, and they have no idea where it is. If the Sect finds it first, they may re-curse Azil, and he'll again be lost for ages.  Willow and Azíl need to find it before the Sect does. But where should they start to look.  Witch, Warlock, and Secret Sect are all racing to find the teapot.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author, and the above is my voluntary and honest review.

Where is the teapot?

Even all their protection spells, locks, and safes could not protect Azil’s teapot from being stolen. They must get it back if they hope to break his curse. The Sect is tracking them, lurking, shadowing. The coffee shop is no longer safe. Willow and Azil struggle to find a future that lets them grow old together.

This set of urban cozies has adventure, romance, danger, and magic. I recommend it to anyone who wants to lose themselves in a world of paranormal adventure. I received a free copy of this book, but my review is honest and voluntary.

Cauldron Coffee Shop Vol 2 boxset contains books 4-6: Cinnamon Cocoa and Far To Go, Mulled Cider and No One Is Wiser, Vanilla Frappe and Reasons To Stay. Willow and Azil’s story continues with many changes occurring in these three books. They learn about The Sect, a secret society that buys and sells as well as upholds curses. The Sect is keeping tabs on Azil through official channels and are determined to renew his curse. Break-ins at the coffee shop have Willow on edge and distrustful of the Supernatural Retrieval Office. They also travel to Morocco with Sabine’s archaeological dig and discover a surprising link to Azil’s past. Azil becomes an official translator for the team, and helps Mona find the means for breaking the curse. Willow returns home alone to the coffee shop and questions her career goals. Through it all, Willow and Azil grow closer together. In addition, a medical issue with Spooky leads to information about her ownership.

The ending of this set marks the halfway point in this series and has set up a couple that the reader can root for. As Azil adapts to the modern world and meets a wider variety of people, he emphasizes that he loves Willow for who she is, not because she freed him. The communication between these characters helps to strengthen their relationship. Willow shows signs of PTSD after her run ins with the Sect and attends self defense classes to help deal with it. She also forms a closer friendship with her cousin, Clover. Characters from other Obscure World series continue to make appearances and add to the overall world building. The characters have depth and the diversity of magical systems and supernatural beings keep the story interesting.

This set of books had more tension and freaking out in this cute and funny series. With the teapot stolen at the end of the book 3, this set starts out with Willow was a mess with Azil being the voice of reason which made for a funny entertaining read. Then Willow and Azil travel and that causes some drama. Plus Spooky is back to add to the fun. Decisions are made, hilarious scenes to enjoy and so much more fun too. Just clean fun

I do so love this cozy series and having them in handy box sets is all the the better. There’s a lot of things happening to the intrepid duo now, some nice and some not so nice. I loved it every word, from beginning to end. What’s going to happen in the next one I wonder, cannot wait to find out. Highly recommended.

Books 4-6 of this cozy/supernatural series

As the blurb suggests, this is a lovely cozy fantasy with plenty of warm & fuzzies to go round - just right if you're in the mood for a pleasant read ... over a cuppa!

(I was fortunate to receive an ARC however the above is, as ever, my own opinion.)

In the second volume of Cauldron Coffee Shop things get a bit more tantalising. The curse is finally broken and more information is gained about the organisation maintaining it. Willow and Azíl take a trip to Morocco to see the tomb that started it all. A very interesting read, I love learning about Azíl's past.

I'm voluntarily leaving a review after receiving a free copy. I liked how the relationship between Willow and Azil is developing. Azil is exploring his new freedom and has found something he is good at even if means there are separated for a bit. However the Sect is still a danger.
