Overall, a pleasant end to the series.
This volume contains books 10-12.
Book 10 has a lot of "conversations", a lot of "private thoughts", yet only near the end is there any significant action or progress on the mysteries of the underlying arc - mostly in the chapter providing the hook into book 11.
Book 11 feels like it has more hugs than previous episodes and less "padding".
It's still gentle, cozy, & warm but with slightly more content to enjoy.
"Because to some extent, that's all life really is.
A series of problems that are much easier to deal with when
you have the right people around you to help you cope."
Book 12 is entitled "Ancient Nightcap and That's a Wrap" and is basically a lovely sweet book to tie things up and end the series just right!
(I particularly liked Clover's speech at the party!)
On the series as a whole, personally, I think this should have been maybe 10 books in total as the series sometimes feels like it has been stretched out unnecessarily. That is, however, a good reason to read it in the four volume collection rather than twelve individual books
(I was fortunate to receive an ARC of this collection however the above is, as ever, my own opinion.)
