A single mother with a guarded heart. A biker with a troubled past. When their worlds collide, can they find love in the unlikeliest place?
Jenna Landry is just trying to hold her life together—balancing lesson plans, late bills, and raising her fierce little daughter Maddie on her own. She’s sworn off taking risks and built walls to protect her heart, especially after losing the only man she ever truly loved. The last thing she needs is trouble… but trouble arrives in the form of Jax Breaux, president of the Grim’s Angels Motorcycle Club.
Jax knows all about second chances. Leading his club away from their outlaw past hasn’t been easy, and the town still sees him as a threat. But when a school fundraiser puts him in Jenna’s path, he’s drawn to her strength, her stubborn pride, and the vulnerable hope in her eyes. And when Maddie claims him as her new hero, Jax finds himself craving the family he never thought he deserved.
As the sparks between them grow, Jenna and Jax must navigate gossip, old grudges, and the danger that still lingers in the club’s shadow. Will Jenna risk her heart for a man who lives on the edge? Can Jax prove he’s more than the rumors—and offer her the safe haven she’s always longed for?
Raw, emotional, and full of Southern grit, Book One of the Grim’s Angels MC series is a powerful story of redemption, loyalty, and the healing power of love. Perfect for fans of MC romance, single mom heroines, and found family stories.
The story was good but it was hard to follow the action and timeline. You routed for Jax and Jenna but wanted to smack the doubts out of her. Nothing in the story was totally clear, but I found it entertaining in its own way.
Is the president of the club that is trying to go clean. But public opinion and rival clubs makes it hard. But meeting Jenna and Maddie at a school fundraiser will change his life.
Jax and Jenna is a thrilling and emotional ride! These two come from completely different worlds—a biker club president and a single mom teacher—and by all logic, their lives shouldn't fit together.
But you won't be able to stop turning the pages. As they face danger and heartbreak side by side, their undeniable chemistry will pull you in. It's a raw, romantic, and breathtaking story that will have you rooting for their love from start to finish.
Didn’t like how Jax expected Jenna to be okay with the open sex and general debauchery of the club. She was an elementary school teacher for goodness sakes! With a small child. She had every right to not want to coexist in that world. At one point Jax made it seem like he’d limit the x-rated activities that happened out in the open. A few chapters later he was like come to this crazy party and see if you can deal with the real club and Jenna was like okay I can do it because it’s a family? She did all the conceding and he did none. Also, I read book two first, wherein Cherry was the super aggressive club whore who went after Colt. I didn’t realize that she did the same thing in book one with Jax and seemed to redeem herself at the end. So why was she back to square one in Colt’s book? And why did they allow her to stay?
Also, Sable, Pixie and Lola were all missing from book two. Why?
Jax and Jenna Meet Jax and Jenna, he is club president of the Grim’s Angels and she a single mother and teacher in the community. Full of emotion, chaos, and danger leaving you want to follow along in their lives to see what they overcome next. There are trigger warnings given with the storyline. I started the series and couldn’t put it down!
Not a bad story overall. It did need some editing to cut down on the repetitive content. I liked the characters and as a teacher myself, I understood Jenna’s worries. Jax was very understanding and caring. Could have been a little spicier 🤭. I hope the other books get better as it goes on.
Good start to a series. Love the banter and Maddie. It was a little all over the place. A couple time I had to stop and say what? But it kept my attention and has a good storyline.
This story felt like a run on sentence, it was very repetitive. I will not be reading anymore of the series. I like the short story- but it was not worth trying another book in the series.
