Genius title. Everyone who sees it asks me about it. The content is good but not great. Sometimes you don't need great. You need to be reminded of stuff you already know. In which case this book is exactly what you are look for. Robin Sharma has a very specific voice, familiar to anyone who grew up in the white evangelical church in the U.S. - warm and encouraging, more coach than preacher, mildly chiding, someone you feel truly sees and cares about you and who you desperately don't want to disappoint. And, honestly, that might be exactly the push you need to build the habits you know you want in your life. For me, the advice often felt out of reach for anyone with kids, aging parents, health issues, an economically fragile life. Still, I think this is a valuable resource for many of us. If you approach it as a tool which you will use for a specific purpose, it is worth reading. Thank you to the author, Bolinda Audio, and NetGalley for the audioARC.

4.5 rounded up. Short and to the point- Robin Sharma provides another motivating mentoring session on consistency, productivity, and lifestyle tools that set you up for a more productive life and underscores that consistency is the DNA of mastery.

Thank you NetGalley for this arc!
Audiobook

The beginning of this book is filled with great quotes and motivation but then that’s what it stayed at. Just motivation and quotes, no instructions or suggestions.

With thanks to the author Robin Sharma, publishers Bolinda Audio, and NetGalley for providing me with an advance copy of this audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

Read by the author himself, this is a short but really inspirational listen, and ideal for someone struggling with getting results or making progress in any aspect of their life.

Rather than just reading from a script, the narration feels more like a personal 1:1 session with Robin and, while it includes some detailed topics that will require some deep thinking and consideration, it is delivered in a way that makes it all sound very achievable.

In terms of the content, the main point is that the key to achieving long term results in anything, whether it be a tangible work or home project, a relationship goal, a personal fitness target, basically anything, is to keep showing up consistently day after day. No matter how small or insignificant each individual daily effort may seem, they will add up something amazing over time once they are done consistently.

For me it's a running challenge and, after a period of relative inactivity, I have now been inspired after listening to this work to get out regularly over the past week. With this audiobook and the bonus meditation included at the end in my back pocket for reference when I need them, I hope to keep that up in order to achieve my goals.

I am also fascinated to learn more about the 5AM Club that Robin refers to throughout this audiobook, and excited to learn how I may be able to take those ideas to make a positive impact on my life.

4.5 stars.

It's not what you do once in a while that will create your greatest life but what you do each day. Consistency is the golden key to mastery, prosperity, energy and turning your wishful longings into your finest triumphs. Small wins, when done steadily, will stack into world-class habits and massive successes over time, guaranteeing that you experience the magic that your bright future has is in store for you.

The idea in this book resonated so much with me, I had to tell my husband to read this too (or listen to the audiobook, which was what I did) while I was still halfway through. While the idea itself wasn’t groundbreaking, the way Robin Sharma repackaged the storytelling invigorated me to start reviewing my practice again and improve my routines.

I loved the idea of consistency over small wins and the term world-class ‘everything’, such as world-class evening routines. I definitely closed the book feeling motivated and inspired. Robin’s narration was perfect - his upbeat tone and pacing delivered the storytelling well. His stage-presence charisma came through the audio.

I’d highly recommend reading (or listening) to this book, either as a reminder or a call to action. Do it multiple times even, why not!

(Thanks to NetGalley and Bolinda Audio for a gifted review copy)

I've enjoyed all the other books by Robin Sharma. My favorite being The 5 am Club.

This book however only seemed to be good at the beginning. It was filled with motivation from great quotes but then not really much else. There wasn't laid out instructions or ideas to help the reader to stay consistent going forward. It felt like the writing of the book was rushed and not as well laid out and informative as his others.

Thanks to NetGalley and the arc for the audiobook.

This was surprisingly very beneficial and I appreciated the example stories utilized throughout the book, some random and some celebrities. The narrator did a fabulous job keeping me engaged throughout the book and wanting to hear more advice. Many acronyms used which I can't quite remember but equated to you are responsible for yourself and your success. Easy is hard and hard is easy. Give it a listen, you won't be bored and will more than likely have a positive takeaway!

This book is great as a motivational book. Where it loses steam is as a practical manuel for implementing the messages in the book. There’s plenty of motivation but not much strategy.

Excellent book. I haven't had a personal development book grab my attention like this on in a very long time. I'm starting it again to help digest and so that I can take notes this time.

I enjoyed this "book". It is actually a collection of 3 different audio books on self development and unleashing your potential. The author is full of enthusiasm and excitement and the book was really easy to listen to. The author uses tons of acronyms but it worked. I will listen to it again. The 3 different works had some overlap so some of the stories and ideas are repeated but I still found it enjoyable and useful.

2nd Listen
One of the most positive voices I have listened to with great material. I enjoyed it more the second time. So much great advice packaged into 1 short audio collection
