Monopulse Principles and Techniques

Rate this book
This is the classic tutorial text for monopulse radar, and the best all-around book of its kind. It contains much information not found elsewhere, at least not in easily accessible sources. It gives a clear, detailed explanation of the theory, including the mathematics for those who want it. It also describes the essential hardware components and explains their functions and performance ÃÂÃÂ in words, diagrams, equations, and graphs. Some illustrations and photographs are drawn from actual radar systems and components Experienced radar designers as well as beginners will find this book useful as a reference source and a tutorial guide. For those involved in analysis or computer simulation the book derives accurate formulas and graphs instead of some commonly used rough approximations. And it points out additional capabilities of monopulse, not necessarily limited to radar. Even though innovations and improvements in monopulse are constantly being made, most of the material in this book is basic and does not become outdated.
