I can’t possibly know how children are raised or what their characters are like in other countries, but in Greece, no four-year-old child would be able act or talk/think like Giulia. Even up to the age of 18 her manner of speaking and behavior were beyond her age.
I am very well aware that it’s fiction, but when matters are farfetched the reader’s engrossment wanes…

Anyway - putting this issue aside - I managed to finish it, but I was left undecided as to whether I would read the next part.

Thought this was gonna be my redemption book for the god awful book I read a few days ago but nope. Started out so good. Continued good. Which is why I gave it three stars. But then it got to the point where there was just too much going on. Ended on a cliffhanger with no way for this plot to evolve in a meaningful and intriguing way. Read the summary for the sequel in the duet and it confirmed that I do not have any desire to continue with this duet. This storyline just doesn’t need to continue but the author decided to drag it out as long as possible. Disappointed and onto the next…

This book completely wrecked me in the best way. Raffaele Gagliardi is dark, scarred, and dangerous, yet the moment he collides with Giulia, everything changes. The tension between them is explosive, raw, and absolutely impossible to put down. I could feel every ounce of his obsession, every whispered claim, every moment of danger, and it had me hooked from the very first page.

The story had me glued to my Kindle. I could not stop turning the pages because every scene between them crackles with intensity. Raffaele is the kind of antihero you know you should run from, but instead you end up falling for him harder with every chapter. The romance is fierce, obsessive, and heartbreaking, the kind of love story that makes your chest ache in the best way.

I'm READY for book 2!!!.

3.25⭐️ 2.5/5🌶️🌶️ Two rival crime families at war, a modern take on star-crossed lovers. The book starts strong with rich backstories and promising tension, but once the main characters meet and inevitably fall for each other, the back-and-forth becomes repetitive and frustrating.
As a reader, I was left with so many questions. How are they constantly sneaking around without anyone noticing? One of her phone calls gets tapped—so why not the others? And don’t even get me started on the overly condescending cousin she confides in about everything (insert eye roll here). The number of unrealistic plot points piled up quickly, to the point where I found myself skimming entire chapters just to get back to the main plot.
It was entertaining enough for what it was, but I won’t be continuing the series.

Broken Mafia Prince is such a page-turner. The characters are so well-written and amazing.

Giulia and Raffaele are from rival families. There is so much tension and danger in their story. It will leave you emotionally spent. Their chemistry is so good and emotional. I'm excited for book two in this series.

This compelling story had my emotions in a twist as I connected with Raffaele and Giulia. Their love is one that has you thinking of fairy tales, but the fates leashed on them comes with a dangerous twist coming from rival families. I was so caught up in them that when it ends I wanted the next episode of their story.

This mafia romance book is very hard to put down because of its well written characters Giulia and Raffaele but the storyline as well is nail biting and intense. Kayla has kept this book not only exciting, but you find yourself saying just one more page one more chapter and before you know it your finished reading the most amazing book. All I know was that for a few days I was sleep deprived because I stayed up late reading this 5/5-star book.

Giulia and Raffaele met in a meeting where their mob leaders were discussing business. He had a dog with him, and she started to pet him. Both of them have heartless fathers who only want to use them. They fell in love, but their mafia families were enemies, and they would rather see them dead. They were going to run away, but a major accident occurred. Their futures changed and would never be the same.

This dark and riveting story was such an emotional read. The children of feuding mafia families destined to be together, meet and grow to care for each other over time. I loved the interaction between this couple. They both suffer so much growing up and deserve happiness. That ending is brutal and I need the next book now.
