Three months ago, I crashed into my favorite rock star—literally. And I walked away with more than a bruised ego. I walked away with him. But happily-ever-after isn’t as simple as it looks from the outside. The world’s watching our every move, just waiting for us to fall apart. Jax holds me together when I know I’m unraveling, makes me laugh when I want to cry. But love doesn’t fix everything. And I don’t know if we can survive what’s coming next.
Jax:
Allie isn’t just the girl I fell for—she’s the calm I never knew I needed. Now the world’s spinning faster than ever: album about to drop, band drama boiling over. Everyone wants a piece of me, and I’m running out of pieces to give. Then the last person I ever expected to see again walks back into my life. He’s back, asking questions that pull open scars I learned to hide. Except this time, I’ve got something worth fighting for— and I’ll burn it all down before anyone takes her from me.
Louder Than Words is an emotional continuation of Allie and Jax. It’s a story of love under pressure, the fear of not being enough, and the fight to hold on when everything threatens to pull you apart.

Thank you so much to Olivia for sending me this ARC!
Since reading book 1, I’ve been dying to read more of Allie & Jax’s story and it did not disappoint! I read this in one sitting!
Both MC’s are really likeable, well written characters who make you feel all the emotions. Their story is so beautiful, heartfelt and powerful! I’m still on the fence about Nora’s character though and Trevor is still a pr**k😂
I’m not even sad that it ended on another cliffhanger, it just makes me more excited for book 3!
Olivia’s writing is easy to connect with and the perfect escape in the form of a romance book!
Everyone needs a best friend like Ana! This book was fantastic and pulled me in from the first chapter. It was so relateable. That ending though 🤣I love Olivia's writing style and she is one, if she writes it, I will read it!
Allie steps out, and for a second, it’s like the whole world stops spinning. Like the universe itself is holding its breath, saving this one perfect moment so everyone can truly take in how beautiful she is. And the best part? She’s all mine .
“Sometimes people have to lose the chance to have something before they can see how beautiful it is.”
We pick up the story shortly after the end of Don't Think - with so much hanging in the balance for Jax and Allie. Custody battles with Trevor, recording and an upcoming tour, building a new relationship, and the future all hang in the balance. Such high stakes, and can Jax and Allie overcome it all?
I fell even more in love with Jax and Allie in this book. I love how they are there for each other, through all of the ups and downs, and keep holding each other steady. Ana and the band were great support systems, and found family has never been more true than with this close-knit group. But if you think this story is sunshine, you'd be wrong. There are so many obstacles that Jax and Allie have to overcome - Trevor and his relentless pursuit of custody for the girls, Nora and her continued selfish behavior, and new things that come up along the way. But Jax and Allie never wavered, and I absolutely cannot wait to see how their journey concludes in the next book.
I recommend this if you enjoy stories filled with plenty of angst, but also filled with love and found families that support their loved ones through the toughest times.
“She’s it. Allie is my person. My forever. She’s everything. And I’ll never take any of it - any of her - for granted. That’s for bloody sure”
4/5⭐️ 3.5/5🌶️🤭
This has become one of my favourite series. This book particularly had taken me on an emotional roller coaster. At times I was so angry I could have kicked a rock. Made me feel so sad, I needed to seek comfort from my boyfriend and made me so god damn happy I was smiling so hard my cheeks hurt. I cannot wait until the third books gets written and released. I need to see this happily ever after play out. Jax and Allie have become one of my favourite book couples. Their chemistry is amazing and their love for one another so pure. I think everyone needs to pick this series up and get to reading it. It’s something we all need to experience in our lives 🥺
ARC read. Thank you so so much to Olivia Tucker and Rattle the Stars PR for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC.
STOP!?
This book follows perfectly on from Don’t Think, Allie and Jax’s story.. I cannot get enough and my goodness another cliffhanger, hold my heart together while I have to wait for the next book!
The highs and lows this beautiful couple have to go through are heartbreaking, I’m not a crier but I nearly cried. I could not for the life of me tell you where I thought their story was going and I blooming loved it, the twists and turns, highs and lows, shock revelations, my goodness I’m speechless!
Louder Than Words comes out February 24th.. get reading “Don’t Think” now and you’ll be ready for the rollercoaster when it comes
Ahhhh I just love Allie and Jax, their relationship goals! They’ve gone through so much and still come out on top together. Everyone needs a spouse like Jax 🥹. I definitely can’t wait for Book #3 👏🏼👏🏼
This series just keeps getting better. It’s so much more than 'just a rockstar romance'—these characters have incredible depth. The journey Allie and Jax go through is heavy, heartbreaking, and feels raw and authentic.
As a mom, Allie’s experience resonated with me on such a deep level; I felt every emotion right along with her. And Jax? He is everything. Seeing him stick by her side through it all was beautiful.
Beyond the emotional weight, they still have that playful spark and some seriously great spicy scenes! I’m desperate for Book 3—Olivia gave us another cliffhanger, though thankfully my heart is a little more intact this time than after Book 1.

“Sometimes people have to lose the chance to have something before they can see how beautiful it is.”
“The quiet from her side has been louder than anything I could've imagined.”
“Watching him love them like they're his own is probably the most attractive thing I've ever witnessed in my entire life.”
“To feel this much love, you'd think it might be terrifying. Maybe even a little suffocating. But now? I can't imagine my life without it. Without him.”
“You've shown me what real love looks like. With your kindness. With your patience. With the way you somehow manage to see every version of me—and still choose me.”
“I love you louder than words could ever describe.”
Thank you Rattle the Stars PR & Olivia Tucker for this eARC ♡ Release Date: 2/24/26
Did I read this entire book in one sitting as soon as I was able to download it? Yes 😍
Everything about these characters has held me captive, I can’t explain how much I love them. Jax, Allie, Ana, the girls, James, they’re all just so wonderful. Trevor on the other hand? He makes me FURIOUS. Which I suppose means he’s a good character… but I hate him so much! Desmond is also one of my new favourite characters 🤭
I absolutely adored the scenes between Jax and the two girls. He was born to be a dad (cue my swoon). I loved him also just BEING THERE for Allie through everything, big or small. Like, ugh my heart 😩
Apart from the characters themselves, this book shattered me… the pain they experienced and the absolute hell they went through broke my heart. Two of the most deserving people experiencing so much suffering was so hard to read, but it was written really well 💔
On a completely different note, the spice was perfection 😍 I love that Allie and Jax are trying out new things and having the most fun while they do it (pun intended 😆)
Thank you Olivia for allowing me to read this work of art early 🙏🏻
The story picks up right where Don’t Think left off, diving deeper into the lives of Allie and Jax. Allie is navigating a brutal custody battle with her ex, Trevor, while Jax is balancing his rising music career and his commitment to Allie and her daughters. The emotional stakes are high. Allie’s struggle with grief, fertility issues, and the fear of losing her children is raw and relatable. Jax’s loyalty and love for Allie and the girls shine through, making their relationship feel authentic and deeply moving. The characters are very well developed. Both Allie and Jax have their own back stories and try to navigate throughout their lives with that in tow. Their actions and reactions are very relatable. I also love how Trevor's character was written. Although he was having his own struggles, Olivia really managed to make him unlikable to me. Well done! The writing style is easy and you eat this book up in no time. I enjoyed it very much. I'm looking forward to the next (last?) book in the series.
ARC Review!!! Louder Than Words by Olivia Tucker 🖤
The emotional roller coaster this book was!!! 🎢 This is the first book I’ve finished in 2026! And it was the best first book to kick off the new year!!
It picked up right where Don’t Think ended and the emotions started almost instantly!
I love Jax and Allie They have been through sooo much in both books. Their love is unmistakable 🖤 They never gave up on each other when things got scary.
I really have no words to describe this book other than amazing!!! It will make you smile, hold your breath, angry, cry, and cry some more 😅
I think the scene with Don made me cry the most iykyk 🥺
The spice was perfection!
And of course…. cliffhanger 😫 BUT!!! Don’t worry! It’s no where near as bad as Don’t Think! It will just make you eager to see how Jax and Allie will tackle another obstacle that’s been thrown at them!
This book had my stomach in knots the ENTIRE time I read it!
Louder Than Words is the sequel to Don't Think by Olivia Tucker which I also was an ARC reader for. To catch you up, Jax and Allie meet in book one and quickly fall for each other. It is a Rockstar/single mom romance that left us with a major cliff hanger.
Book 2 jumps right in where book 1 left off and for that I was extremely grateful. This book had LOTS of drama! Jax's Rockstar dreams are all coming to fruition but all at the same time, Allie is going through an incredibly rough battle with her ex-husband. Will Jax and Allie be able to work through everything together and stay strong or will they be pulled apart in different directions?
Louder Than Words lived up to all my expectations after loving Don't Think so much. I was excited to jump back into this world and see what happened with this new relationship. Keep in mind, this book also ends on a cliffhanger but not one as big as book 1!
Book one was mostly about Jax and Allie meeting and their summer romance, this book puts their relationship to the test.
It's still very much a rockstar romance, but with a lot more emotion (did we expect any different after the ending in book one?), life drama, and the best (and worst) of friendships. And of course, a deeper relationship between Jax and Allie. So much happens, but I'm not in the game of spoilers, so pick this book up.
Thank you so much to Olivia and Rattle the Stars PR for this ARC!
A story that highlights how bumpy life is. That some people take hit after hit with no breathing space. There may be happy interludes inbetween and it's in those moments where you decide if it drags you down or, your inner strength helps you rise.
Allie and Jax don't have it easy but they do have 'a village,' an amazing network of friends who are family that stick by them and support them.
A beautifully written story that tackles some tough subjects sensitively. A reminder that we never know who may be quietly fighting a battle, despite the smile they present on the outside.
As the second book in the trilogy, we get to experience more of the ins and outs of the characters' relationships. Allie and Jax have to navigate his rockstar career while also dealing with Allie's ex trying to tear them apart. Their relationship has as much spice as it does sweetness, with an abundance of heartwarming moments. We also get to see their found family grow stronger together and truly see that it does take a village. This installment also ends on a cliffhanger but it only serves to create even more excitement for the third book.
I think I feel more in love with Jax. And my heart absolutely breaks for Allie. Everything she’s had to deal with. And her “friend” needs her 🍑 beat and if Allie doesn’t do it then Anna better 😅 Heck at this point I’d be ok with a freaking slap. She sure deserves it. And if you read then books then you know who I’m talking about and if you haven’t, what are you waiting for?? I can’t wait for boom three!! Spice level is probably a single pepper
the world of Jax and Allie is one I absolutely love to be in! Thank you to Olivia for the arc. reading this series is honestly such a joy. Olivia always manages to surprise me with how incredible her writing is, the plot, the character development, the story everything is just incredible! but that cliff hanger. wow. roll on the next book I for one can't wait already
book 1 was so good I already know book 2 will be just as amazing! I cant wait to read and am placing my 5 stars here as a placeholder....will update when I get to read!! ❤️❤️❤️
📚 ARC Review | Louder Than Words by Olivia Tucker ✨ Release Date: 2/24/26 🎵 Series: Lyrics from the Heart #2
I was left hanging after book one, and wow book two did it again! Another cliffhanger, but honestly this ending didn’t disappoint it only amps up my anticipation for book three!
Louder Than Words is an emotional continuation of Allie and Jax’s story a tale of love under pressure, the fear of not being enough, and the fight to hold on when everything threatens to pull you apart.
💙 Jax stole my heart in this one. Level-headed, positive, and we finally get a deeper look into his past. He’s such a great boyfriend and great person overall. 💔 Allie had me torn. I loved her growth early on, but her negativity and immaturity later made me frustrated. I wanted her to be stronger, especially for her kids. 😡 Trevor… I can’t believe someone would use their kids as leverage. Unbelievable. 🙅♀️ Nora still not a fan. Allie is way too kind to her and just unbelievable what she did to Gareth. 👯♀️ Ana we all need an Ana in our lives!
This book was an emotional rollercoaster, happiness, anger, sadness all packed into one. Jax and Allie’s chemistry is strong, though a little rushed. Still, I couldn’t stop turning the pages!
Thank you to @oliviatucker and @Rattlethestarspr for this ARC. Counting down the days until book three!
⭐ Rating: 4/5 Spicy: 3/5 If you are looking for a book that is Emotional, dramatic, and addictive this is it. Have you read this book?
Louder Than Words by Olivia Tucker wrecked me — emotionally, beautifully, completely.
This second book in the Lyrics from the Heart trilogy picks up right where "Don´t Think" left off, and trust me, you have to read that one first. Allie is fighting for her kids after her toxic ex, Trevor, tries to take custody — simply because she’s dating Welsh metal god Jax, the king of consent and chaos in leather.
Jax is everything. He’s rough, soft, filthy, and tender all at once. He calls her “love” in that deep accent that makes your heart melt, makes her burnt toast because she likes it even though he hates it, and still says “Crazy woman” with a grin. They balance each other — he’s usually dominant, but she’s learning to take control too, and when she tells him “Are you gonna be a good boy?” and he whispers “Totally worth it,” I screamed.
But beyond the spice, this story hurts. There’s a plot twist that broke me in half (Olivia Tucker, you evil genius), and another that put me back together — only for her to smash my heart all over again. Jax’s words “I don’t think you realize how truly beautiful you are” sum up his quiet devotion perfectly.
The fame pressure, custody battles, band tension — everything feels so real and raw. This isn’t just a love story; it’s a story about survival, trust, and choosing each other again and again.
It ends on another cliffhanger, but one filled with hope — and I can’t wait for the finale.
Louder than words was loud, emotional, and heartbreakingly beautiful.
Louder Than Words was my first read of 2026 and honestly such an emotional return to Jax and Allie’s world. Their bond was truly tested in this one. Harsh truths, messy pasts, and friends who made questionable choices. But through it all, they still chose each other, and that is what made this story hit so hard.
Allie… girl, you annoyed me in this book. I understand the weight of what she went through after the accident, and my heart genuinely hurt for her. But it felt like everything revolved around her pain, and Jax was left carrying the emotional weight alone. That scene where he drove for hours just to be turned away? I was MAD. This man is the ultimate boyfriend and deserves better than emotional exile.
But Ana. ANA. My girl stepped in and spoke facts. I adored how she held Allie together when she was spiraling. That is the kind of friendship I live for.
And Trevor and Nora? You two made my blood boil. I am glad they realized their mistakes and owned up to them, but whew, the frustration was real.
Overall, Louder Than Words was such a strong continuation of their story. It does not end with a dramatic cliffhanger, but I am still counting down to book three. Jax is literally the man of dreams, Allie is his dream, and their journey is one that stays with you long after the last page.
Thank you @rattlethestarspr and @oliviatuckerauthor for the opportunity to read and review Louder Than Words. I am eagerly waiting for Book # 3 🎸
We pick up not long after Don’t Think, and honestly, the stakes feel even higher this time. Between Trevor’s ongoing custody battle, recording and touring pressures, trying to build something real together, and the weight of what the future might look like, it felt like everything was balanced on a knife’s edge for Jax and Allie. I fell even harder for them here. The way they show up for each other, steadying one another through every hit, made their relationship feel grounded and real. The found family element with Ana and the band was everything, and it truly felt like these people were holding each other together when things got rough.
This book is not all sunshine though, not even close. I was angry, sad, emotional, and then ridiculously happy all within a few chapters. There were moments where I wanted to scream at certain characters (looking at you, Trevor and Nora), and other moments where I was smiling so hard my face actually hurt. Jax and Allie’s chemistry is undeniable, and their love feels pure even when everything around them is chaotic. This series has completely wrapped itself around my heart, and while this isn’t a perfect story, it’s one that made me feel everything. I need the next book immediately because I have to see this happily ever after play out.
This was my first ARC read of 2026, Thanks to Olivia and for Rattle the Star Pr for giving me the opportunity to read early !
Louder Than Words is a beautifully written, emotionally resonant story that proves some of the loudest moments in life happen in the quiet spaces. Olivia Tucker delivers a heartfelt exploration of vulnerability, connection, and the courage it takes to be truly seen.
The characters feel achingly real—flawed, tender, and deeply human—and their emotional journeys unfold in a way that feels both intimate and honest. The writing is lyrical without being heavy, striking a perfect balance between raw emotion and hope. Every interaction carries weight, making even the smallest moments feel meaningful.
What truly sets Louder Than Words apart is its ability to capture unspoken feelings—the things we struggle to say out loud but feel deeply. It’s a story that lingers long after the final page, leaving you reflective, a little softer, and reminded of the power of understanding and love.
A must-read for anyone who loves character-driven stories, emotional depth, and romances that feel genuine and earned. 💛📖
OH MY GOD!!!!! This was literally PERFECTION!!! I was so excited when i got this ARC in my email. Literally finished this book in 3 hours!
I was so happy to see Jax & Allie once again! Book 2 literally made me FEEL things! The spice as well omg amazing! Such an amazing work, it was perfection. I don’t know what else to say other than perfection. Had me crying, smiling, giggling, jaw dropping reactions. It was great, definitely a rollercoaster but worth every second of it.
Now, Desmond is slowly becoming my favorite character! It’s so funny it’s great. Still hate Trevor and Nora for sure! They just annoy the fuck out of me and Trevor is just an a**. Absolutely adored Jax & Allie forever. OH AND DON 😭😭😭 that specific scene, just killed me and i immediately started sobbing. It was so wholesome and heartwarming at the same time.
Now i don’t know what to do with my life cause the ending was a cliffhanger but not as bad as the first one.
This was such a great follow up to book 1, Don't Think. Both characters get so much deeper and also much spicier. I loved it. I am still obsessed with Jax. He is total perfection and can do no wrong. Allie really goes through it emotionally in the legal battle with her ex and Jax is there every step of the way just doing everything he can to support her and and the girls. He just continues to love her, even when she doesn't think she wants or needs it. Allie has so much growth and really shines now that she is being loved and treated the way she deserves. Ana also remains one of the greatest fictional bff's. There is another cliffhanger, but it's not as brutal as the one in Don't Think. I am so excited to read the next book and see what happens!
I’ve just finished Louder Than Words, and since this was an ARC, a huge thank you to Olivia for trusting me with this story.
Louder Than Words is the second book in the Heart trilogy, and I absolutely loved it. The writing is beautiful, the characters are so easy to connect with (well… except Trevor), and I found myself laughing and crying right along with Allie and Jax. Everyone deserves a best friend like Ana, and the spice? Perfection 👌😘
And that cliffhanger… Olivia, why would you do this to us?
I can’t recommend this book enough. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll get frustrated, maybe even a little angry but it all gets better in the end. Or does it? 😉
I can relate to Allie in being a single mother, going to court for custody, and dealing with someone with anger issues. It brought a lot of memories and showed how every situation is different but can be so similar at the same time. Olivia Tucker, your writing style is so easy to follow and you have done an amazing job in capturing mental, emotional, and physical challenges! I love Jax and the support he gives ❤ I need a Jax in my life! There is more character development with the guys like Don and Desmond. I want more on Ana and James 😉
I adored Don’t Think so much and was so excited for this book. Jax and Allie have my heart. As a single mom myself, I resonate so much with this story. I love their love. This was such an emotional roller coaster. I feel so truly connected to these characters and I’m so invested in their stories. Olivia has such a way with words that really pulls you in. This was incredibly well written. This book is powerful and emotional. I cannot wait for the third book in the series. Infinite star read. Absolutely adored this book.
Book 2 picks up where Don’t Think ended. Spoilers from book 1 ⚠️ I was hooked until the very end! 👏🏻 ✨Allie is going through a custody battle with her ex and he is playing dirty ✨Jax is there to help support her and help take care of her and the girls ✨What happens when Allies world is imploding and Jax’s band timeline gets fast tracked ✨Nora and Gareth- (we are getting more background on these two characters) I’m still deciding how I feel about those two 🧐 ✨ I am so excited for the final book in this trilogy, and excited to see where the next book picks up in their timeline!
This has got to be one of my favorite books this year!!! I love following Jax and Allie and their family! It brought me to tears and Jax is so sweet but has such a rough exterior! Watching Jax get where he wants to be in his personal and professional life! Allie is so perfect for him and he’s so perfect for her and those two girls! I cannot hardly wait for the next book to see where life takes this family! I wish I had a best friend like Allie has!! Not to sure about Nora though!
