Three months ago, I crashed into my favorite rock star—literally. And I walked away with more than a bruised ego. I walked away with him. But happily-ever-after isn’t as simple as it looks from the outside. The world’s watching our every move, just waiting for us to fall apart. Jax holds me together when I know I’m unraveling, makes me laugh when I want to cry. But love doesn’t fix everything. And I don’t know if we can survive what’s coming next.
Jax:
Allie isn’t just the girl I fell for—she’s the calm I never knew I needed. Now the world’s spinning faster than ever: album about to drop, band drama boiling over. Everyone wants a piece of me, and I’m running out of pieces to give. Then the last person I ever expected to see again walks back into my life. He’s back, asking questions that pull open scars I learned to hide. Except this time, I’ve got something worth fighting for— and I’ll burn it all down before anyone takes her from me.
Louder Than Words is an emotional continuation of Allie and Jax. It’s a story of love under pressure, the fear of not being enough, and the fight to hold on when everything threatens to pull you apart.

Thank you so much to Olivia for sending me this ARC!
Since reading book 1, I’ve been dying to read more of Allie & Jax’s story and it did not disappoint! I read this in one sitting!
Both MC’s are really likeable, well written characters who make you feel all the emotions. Their story is so beautiful, heartfelt and powerful! I’m still on the fence about Nora’s character though and Trevor is still a pr**k😂
I’m not even sad that it ended on another cliffhanger, it just makes me more excited for book 3!
Olivia’s writing is easy to connect with and the perfect escape in the form of a romance book!
Everyone needs a best friend like Ana! This book was fantastic and pulled me in from the first chapter. It was so relateable. That ending though 🤣I love Olivia's writing style and she is one, if she writes it, I will read it!
Allie steps out, and for a second, it’s like the whole world stops spinning. Like the universe itself is holding its breath, saving this one perfect moment so everyone can truly take in how beautiful she is. And the best part? She’s all mine .
“Sometimes people have to lose the chance to have something before they can see how beautiful it is.”
This was such an excellent continuation of book one 🥹✨ Allie and Jax’s story is beautiful, messy, and so complex in the best way.
I love how Jax is always there for Allie. Even when she pushes him away, he still shows up giving her the space she needs while quietly supporting her.
What I love most about this series is how layered the characters are. They’re not perfect, they’re growing, healing, and evolving in every book and you can truly feel how deep their love runs. 🫶🏼
Thank you Rattle the Stars and Olivia for sending me the eARC before release day.
We pick up the story shortly after the end of Don't Think - with so much hanging in the balance for Jax and Allie. Custody battles with Trevor, recording and an upcoming tour, building a new relationship, and the future all hang in the balance. Such high stakes, and can Jax and Allie overcome it all?
I fell even more in love with Jax and Allie in this book. I love how they are there for each other, through all of the ups and downs, and keep holding each other steady. Ana and the band were great support systems, and found family has never been more true than with this close-knit group. But if you think this story is sunshine, you'd be wrong. There are so many obstacles that Jax and Allie have to overcome - Trevor and his relentless pursuit of custody for the girls, Nora and her continued selfish behavior, and new things that come up along the way. But Jax and Allie never wavered, and I absolutely cannot wait to see how their journey concludes in the next book.
I recommend this if you enjoy stories filled with plenty of angst, but also filled with love and found families that support their loved ones through the toughest times.
“She’s it. Allie is my person. My forever. She’s everything. And I’ll never take any of it - any of her - for granted. That’s for bloody sure”
4/5⭐️ 3.5/5🌶️🤭
This has become one of my favourite series. This book particularly had taken me on an emotional roller coaster. At times I was so angry I could have kicked a rock. Made me feel so sad, I needed to seek comfort from my boyfriend and made me so god damn happy I was smiling so hard my cheeks hurt. I cannot wait until the third books gets written and released. I need to see this happily ever after play out. Jax and Allie have become one of my favourite book couples. Their chemistry is amazing and their love for one another so pure. I think everyone needs to pick this series up and get to reading it. It’s something we all need to experience in our lives 🥺
ARC read. Thank you so so much to Olivia Tucker and Rattle the Stars PR for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC.
STOP!?
This book follows perfectly on from Don’t Think, Allie and Jax’s story.. I cannot get enough and my goodness another cliffhanger, hold my heart together while I have to wait for the next book!
The highs and lows this beautiful couple have to go through are heartbreaking, I’m not a crier but I nearly cried. I could not for the life of me tell you where I thought their story was going and I blooming loved it, the twists and turns, highs and lows, shock revelations, my goodness I’m speechless!
Louder Than Words comes out February 24th.. get reading “Don’t Think” now and you’ll be ready for the rollercoaster when it comes
I love the love story of Allie and Jax. It's definitely not a easy ride but their bond is undeniable. Although they really struggle sometimes, but you know they will get through it.
The book is, just like book 1, easy to read, flows nicely and just warms your heart to read that there are good guys who are willing to do everything for someone even though they keep pushing them away. Because somewhere in her head she thinks she is not worthy of this kind of love.
But I did not only love their bond. because Ana, yes girl everyone needs a friend like her.. love her.
But it ends on a cliffhanger, again, and I'm can't wait to see how this story unfolds.
What an emotional rollercoaster! Olivia really put us through it. Book two starts where book one left off, with Allie in an accident and Trevor wanted full custody. Jax also gets great news about the band and his record releasing. Throughout the book Allie is going through so many emotions and trying to keep her head above water. Jax is right there by her side. Through court dates and release parties. Ends on another cliffhanger, a better one than book one. Everyone's life is about to change.
Ahhhh I just love Allie and Jax, their relationship goals! They’ve gone through so much and still come out on top together. Everyone needs a spouse like Jax 🥹. I definitely can’t wait for Book #3 👏🏼👏🏼
This book was such a good sequel to Don’t Think! I was able to fall in love with Allie and Jax all over again and it made my heart warm. 💙 I love how Olivia writes a solid relationship that shows what healthy relationships look like and it’s very refreshing. She also did a fantastic job of displaying what it’s like being a single parent fighting for your children and how hard that can be. I really felt for Allie, Jax, the kids and everyone else that was involved in that situation. The only thing that was kind of frustrating is what happened with Nora…I wish she would’ve handled that better and finding out what happened was crazy!!
I can’t wait for the final book in this trilogy to come out and finally get Allie and Jax some peace and a happy ending they deserve. 🥹
This is book two in the series, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. While Don't Think was the blossoming of Allie and Jax’s relationship, Louder than Words truly puts that relationship to the test. Between custody battles and both characters navigating their own emotional struggles through dual points of view, this story delivers on every level. The struggles feels real, the stakes are higher, and the growth is undeniable. The spice? Absolutely on point. You really connect with Allie, you can feel her anxiety surrounding the custody agreement and the difficult news she received in book one (you’ll have to read it… I’m not one for spoilers). The emotional depth combined with the relationship strain makes this sequel even stronger than the first
I went into this one feral after that ending in Don’t Think. The first book dropped a pretty intense spoiler bomb and I have been unwell ever since. So when I got my hands on this ARC and realized I finally got to see what actually happens for Jax and Allie? Immediate priorities shifted. Sleep who?
First of all, the chemistry. It does not gently reintroduce itself. It launches off the page. From the first chapter we’re thrown right back into their orbit like we never left. The tension, the history, the quiet looks, the loud emotions. They are still passionate, still guarded in the ways that make sense for them, still wildly in love. And they feel real. Not romance-novel real. Real real. Like if you told me they lived down the street I would not question it.
And the friendships in this series? They matter. They are layered and developed and stubborn in the best way. These people show up for each other. Through custody battles. Through infertility. Through surprise pregnancies. Through the ugly and the joyful and the in-between. No one exists just to check a “supporting character” box. The friendships are alive and breathing and just as important as the romance.
That’s the thing about Olivia’s writing. It’s not just Jax and Allie who feel human. It’s everyone. The flaws aren’t polished into something palatable. People mess up. They react poorly. They push when they should pull. They stumble. And then they try again. These characters feel as alive on the page as you and I do off it.
What I have always loved most about this series is Allie. Her motherhood is central to who she is, but it is not the only thing she’s allowed to be. She loves her kids fiercely. That never wavers. But she also has wants and fears and preferences and ambition and bad days and complicated feelings. She exists outside of being “just a mom,” and that matters. Women do not stop being full people when they become mothers. Motherhood can be a huge piece of identity without swallowing the rest of it whole. Olivia handles that with so much care and intention and I notice it every time.
And Jax. Listen. He is not perfect. He screws up. But he shows up. He wants to hold her hand. He wants to be present. He wants to grow. He wants to be better for her, not just because she asks, but because he chooses to be. He is obsessed in that soft, attentive way that makes you melt. The kind of partner who memorizes the tiny details and then spends his life proving he paid attention. The boyfriend we all secretly want.
This book is full of highs and lows. It hurts in places. It heals in others. It doesn’t offer easy answers, but it does offer hope and growth and a love that feels earned.
Not surprisingly, I loved every second. If you haven’t started this series yet, pick up Don’t Think immediately because you are absolutely going to want this one waiting for you. And now I will be impatiently sitting here, refreshing for whatever comes next.
This series just keeps getting better. It’s so much more than 'just a rockstar romance'—these characters have incredible depth. The journey Allie and Jax go through is heavy, heartbreaking, and feels raw and authentic.
As a mom, Allie’s experience resonated with me on such a deep level; I felt every emotion right along with her. And Jax? He is everything. Seeing him stick by her side through it all was beautiful.
Beyond the emotional weight, they still have that playful spark and some seriously great spicy scenes! I’m desperate for Book 3—Olivia gave us another cliffhanger, though thankfully my heart is a little more intact this time than after Book 1.

“The quiet from her side has been louder than anything I could've imagined.”

“To feel this much love, you'd think it might be terrifying. Maybe even a little suffocating. But now? I can't imagine my life without it. Without him.”
“You've shown me what real love looks like. With your kindness. With your patience. With the way you somehow manage to see every version of me—and still choose me.”
“I love you louder than words could ever describe.”
Thank you Rattle the Stars PR & Olivia Tucker for this eARC ♡ Release Date: 2/24/26
5 ⭐️ read! First, i have the Thai @oliviatuckerauthor for trusting me along this entire process and being apart of her ARC read! I have loved every single step along Allie and Jax journey and even though you left us on ANOTHER cliffhanger. I’ll allow it because it means we get more! To start off, WE ALL LOVE A SUPPORTIVE KING! And that is me Jax in this entire story. His love and support of Allie through the constant battles is enough to just make me swoon over and over. As a metal girly myself, watching Allie find and fall in love with the lead man of her favorite band and him turn out to be such a freaking teddy with her kids is EVERYTHING! The way he steps into his “stepdad” roll with her kids, not skipping a single step while making sure Allie feels loved and supported was *chefs kiss* i loved getting more of his backstory in this and seeing how he got where he is today! Then here comes Allie, who as a woman who struggled with her own infertility and understanding of not being able to have her own children, come out on top and learn to love herself. UGH. i know exactly how she felt, constantly being asked when your having kids, seeing others get pregnant and complain about them when you would give anything to have that. It’s gut wrenching and Olivia does a flawless job at writing the true pain that goes along side this. Seriously i love this series so much and i can’t get enough! For side notes though… F TREVOR and god do i have Nora. She has no redemption for me. I’m sorry 🤣 #bookish #bookworm #bookstagrammer #bookaholic #bookshelf #bookreviewer #readingcommunity
Heartwarming moments with plenty of drama and spice.
Thank you Olivia for my ARC copy, here are my honest thoughts on Louder Than Words. Louder than Words by Olivia Tucker is a great second instalment with twists and turns of life mirroring the harsh reality of how life can sometimes become far too much to handle alone.
Allie and Jax’s story continues where Don’t Think left off, bringing some closure to the cliffhanger it ended on, and introducing new developments and challenges for them to face.
Each character has a key role within the story, and I really enjoyed how the characters developed throughout the story with Charlotte and Lydia getting more of an active role this time. Their mischief made the dark times much easier to handle and left me laughing every time they made an appearance.
I believe it would be great to have characters like Ana and Nora receive their own stories in the future to view events from their perspective and include more details into their own struggles and experiences.
Plenty of surprises keep you engaged as time moves along. The pacing worked really well and the sequence of events felt fluid and well thought out. The back and forth of the two points of view offered a nice contrast and provided many key insights into Allie and Jax’s internal struggles and interactions with all the other characters.
This story has some mature themes that would be best suited for adult readers with an interest in slow burn romance and dramas.
I am really looking forward to reading the next instalment and any future books by this author.
Did I read this entire book in one sitting as soon as I was able to download it? Yes 😍
Everything about these characters has held me captive, I can’t explain how much I love them. Jax, Allie, Ana, the girls, James, they’re all just so wonderful. Trevor on the other hand? He makes me FURIOUS. Which I suppose means he’s a good character… but I hate him so much! Desmond is also one of my new favourite characters 🤭
I absolutely adored the scenes between Jax and the two girls. He was born to be a dad (cue my swoon). I loved him also just BEING THERE for Allie through everything, big or small. Like, ugh my heart 😩
Apart from the characters themselves, this book shattered me… the pain they experienced and the absolute hell they went through broke my heart. Two of the most deserving people experiencing so much suffering was so hard to read, but it was written really well 💔
On a completely different note, the spice was perfection 😍 I love that Allie and Jax are trying out new things and having the most fun while they do it (pun intended 😆)
Thank you Olivia for allowing me to read this work of art early 🙏🏻
Louder Than Words pulled me straight back into Jax and Allie’s world and did not let go. The stakes are higher, the emotions heavier, and everything feels more raw. Between custody battles, a rising rockstar career, and the pressure of a new relationship, this book constantly kept my stomach in knots. Their bond is tested hard, but the way they continue to choose each other made this such an emotional read.
I fell even more in love with the found family in this book. Ana remains the ultimate best friend, the band feels like home, and the girls absolutely stole my heart. Jax, in particular, was everything, supportive, patient, and born to be a dad. Watching him stand by Allie through her darkest moments was swoon-worthy and heartbreaking all at once.
This story isn’t easy or gentle, but it’s beautifully written and incredibly honest. The angst hits hard, the love feels earned, and the spice was chef’s kiss. A strong, emotional continuation that left me counting down to book three.
We left book 1 on a shocking cliffhanger and this one starts not long after the bombshell was dropped on Allie.
I liked that this book focuses on what happens after they get their happy ending. Now that Allie and Jax are together, we get to see how they navigate their relationship in the real world. It’s full of challenges, Trevor especially being a big pain in the rear end and Jax trying to figure out how juggle being a rockstar and be there for Allie at the same time.
There’s so many great supporting characters. I really love Ana, the best friend every girl needs but I’m still not a fan of Nora. I’m not sure how she ended up friends with Allie and Ana as she’s nothing like them.
Jax and Allie are definitely couple goals and I love their relationship. This book ends in another frustrating cliffhanger which will definitely have me reading book 3 as soon as so I can get my hands on it.
The story picks up right where Don’t Think left off, diving deeper into the lives of Allie and Jax. Allie is navigating a brutal custody battle with her ex, Trevor, while Jax is balancing his rising music career and his commitment to Allie and her daughters. The emotional stakes are high. Allie’s struggle with grief, fertility issues, and the fear of losing her children is raw and relatable. Jax’s loyalty and love for Allie and the girls shine through, making their relationship feel authentic and deeply moving. The characters are very well developed. Both Allie and Jax have their own back stories and try to navigate throughout their lives with that in tow. Their actions and reactions are very relatable. I also love how Trevor's character was written. Although he was having his own struggles, Olivia really managed to make him unlikable to me. Well done! The writing style is easy and you eat this book up in no time. I enjoyed it very much. I'm looking forward to the next (last?) book in the series.
ARC Review!!! Louder Than Words by Olivia Tucker 🖤
The emotional roller coaster this book was!!! 🎢 This is the first book I’ve finished in 2026! And it was the best first book to kick off the new year!!
It picked up right where Don’t Think ended and the emotions started almost instantly!
I love Jax and Allie They have been through sooo much in both books. Their love is unmistakable 🖤 They never gave up on each other when things got scary.
I really have no words to describe this book other than amazing!!! It will make you smile, hold your breath, angry, cry, and cry some more 😅
I think the scene with Don made me cry the most iykyk 🥺
The spice was perfection!
And of course…. cliffhanger 😫 BUT!!! Don’t worry! It’s no where near as bad as Don’t Think! It will just make you eager to see how Jax and Allie will tackle another obstacle that’s been thrown at them!
I absolutely love how Olivia writes broken, layered characters. Jax and Al, the main characters, are both struggling with their pasts, and their journeys feel incredibly real — the kind of emotional baggage actual people carry.
Then there’s Nora, the perfect example of a friend who can go rogue when it suits her, and Trevor, who seems like a genuinely good person but is fighting his own demons. There are many more characters like them, and I loved how naturally the story flows while reminding us how unpredictable life can be.
At a few points, the pacing did feel slightly rushed. It doesn’t take away from the story, but it is noticeable. Still, I enjoyed the book so much that I ended up finishing most of it in one sitting!
If you enjoy angsty celebrity romance with emotional depth, this should definitely be your next read.
This book had my stomach in knots the ENTIRE time I read it!
Louder Than Words is the sequel to Don't Think by Olivia Tucker which I also was an ARC reader for. To catch you up, Jax and Allie meet in book one and quickly fall for each other. It is a Rockstar/single mom romance that left us with a major cliff hanger.
Book 2 jumps right in where book 1 left off and for that I was extremely grateful. This book had LOTS of drama! Jax's Rockstar dreams are all coming to fruition but all at the same time, Allie is going through an incredibly rough battle with her ex-husband. Will Jax and Allie be able to work through everything together and stay strong or will they be pulled apart in different directions?
Louder Than Words lived up to all my expectations after loving Don't Think so much. I was excited to jump back into this world and see what happened with this new relationship. Keep in mind, this book also ends on a cliffhanger but not one as big as book 1!
4.5⭐️ 2🌶️ 🎸single mom x rockstar 🎀infertility rep 🎸custody battle 🎀emotional 🎸found family 🎀spicy 🎸dual POV
This book had me in an absolute chokehold. I loved getting more of Jax and Allie’s journey their story just keeps pulling me in deeper.
As someone who’s dealt with infertility struggles, Allie’s heartbreak hit especially hard. Those emotions felt so real and raw, and it made her journey even more powerful to read.
And Jax?? The ultimate golden retriever hero. I adore that he’s not the stereotypical playboy rockstar. He’s genuine, grounded, and just so easy to love.
But that ending… I am STRESSED. Now I’m nervous (and dying) waiting for the third and final book.
Louder Than Words is the second book in the Lyrics from the heart trilogy. We are continuing to follow the relationship of Allie and Jax as they navigate long distance, a growing music career and the highs and lows of establishing blended families.
This book faces a lot of hard topics that lead on from the first book - please check triggering warnings before reading!
It’s a story that pulled on my heart strings and is written for single mothers fighting to find love they deserve
This book has me laughing and crying in equal measure. It truly is one of the most moving stories I have ever read. I am desperate for book 3 and to see where this romance goes next
This book was so amazing. I felt so many emotions and even caught myself tearing up a few times. The writing in both this book and the first in the series is just one of those books you can’t put down. You have to just keep reading. Adult responsibility be damned!!! This the cliff hanger again 😩😩😩 Now to spend however long it takes till the next book arrives fantasizing over what wonderful and crazy things come next for Allie and Jax. Honestly none will be nearly as good as what Olivia writes but with two characters as amazing as these ones are. It’s hard not to come up with different scenarios as to what may be coming next for our amazing love bird.
Book one was mostly about Jax and Allie meeting and their summer romance, this book puts their relationship to the test.
It's still very much a rockstar romance, but with a lot more emotion (did we expect any different after the ending in book one?), life drama, and the best (and worst) of friendships. And of course, a deeper relationship between Jax and Allie. So much happens, but I'm not in the game of spoilers, so pick this book up.
Thank you so much to Olivia and Rattle the Stars PR for this ARC!
A story that highlights how bumpy life is. That some people take hit after hit with no breathing space. There may be happy interludes inbetween and it's in those moments where you decide if it drags you down or, your inner strength helps you rise.
Allie and Jax don't have it easy but they do have 'a village,' an amazing network of friends who are family that stick by them and support them.
A beautifully written story that tackles some tough subjects sensitively. A reminder that we never know who may be quietly fighting a battle, despite the smile they present on the outside.
As the second book in the trilogy, we get to experience more of the ins and outs of the characters' relationships. Allie and Jax have to navigate his rockstar career while also dealing with Allie's ex trying to tear them apart. Their relationship has as much spice as it does sweetness, with an abundance of heartwarming moments. We also get to see their found family grow stronger together and truly see that it does take a village. This installment also ends on a cliffhanger but it only serves to create even more excitement for the third book.
These poor babies cannot catch a break. Fame, ghosts from the past, band drama simmering like it’s on tour with them. I wanted to wrap them in bubble wrap and post security outside.
Jax? The greenest green flag to ever exist. Walking emotional support human. Patient. Protective. Soft where it counts. If he were any more wholesome, he’d photosynthesize.
Allie’s unraveling felt so real, and their love under all of that glare? Tender but stubborn. The kind that digs its heels in.
Ana and James? Elite side character royalty. We all deserve friends who hype, protect, and occasionally threaten violence with their eyes. Also, respectfully, they need to get together. Immediately. I am invested!
Trevor? Absolutely not. Too familiar in the worst way. We’ve all met that ex. No thank you.
I am seated, buckled in, and emotionally prepared for Jax and Allie to finally get their hard won HEA in the next book. Let them rest. Let them kiss. Let them breathe.
I think I feel more in love with Jax. And my heart absolutely breaks for Allie. Everything she’s had to deal with. And her “friend” needs her 🍑 beat and if Allie doesn’t do it then Anna better 😅 Heck at this point I’d be ok with a freaking slap. She sure deserves it. And if you read then books then you know who I’m talking about and if you haven’t, what are you waiting for?? I can’t wait for boom three!! Spice level is probably a single pepper
