3.25/5: little did I know that the title of this book would entirely describe my 2 days 'alone' in Sydney while wifely worked. 6 out of 25 recommended walks, thousands of photos, and even more steps later, my feet emerged utterly exhausted (with an undone sole to prove), but thoroughly satisfied.

some of the walks might be a little dated, but what's left of the architecture is still interesting. If you do the Paddington walk, do throw in the reservoir, the Australian Center for Photography & a side trip to Woollahra. Take note that the Barracks are closed to the public and the Scottish Hospital is shuttered, pending development.
