It Was Never Just a Killer in the Woods. The phones are gone. The roads are blocked. And the first bodies have already dropped. But this isn’t just a slasher story anymore.
As trust erodes and old secrets surface, the remaining reunion campers face an impossible Run. Fight. Survive.
Again, there’s too many characters but this short story added so much to the first and I wish it was just one larger book vs short stories.
The sorts of 4th wall breaks were hilarious and this book had some humor in it I laughed out loud to. The references to Kindle/reading and romance plots killed me.
Again, the kills were really cool and the information about the “sickness” (it isn’t but I don’t want to spoil it), was so cool! I didn’t see it coming.
I am on the 3rd one now and I am having a great time!!
I think I enjoyed the second book more than the first book. The pace was good, and it was a decent campy horror book. It picked up right where the first book left off and wow what an ending. I'm assuming a third book is coming because there were too many loose ends left.
