I loved it so much! The story was so beautifully writting and I’m so impressed with how good the writing is for a first book!

The Crimson Court Beneath the Veil is alluring and wickedly entertaining with phenomenal writing style.
Time is running out for a Scarlett to uncover the truth of what her tyrant queen of a mother has hidden from the world and to decide the fate of the kingdom with the help of Maddox, her ever loving shadow and from the poetically rabbit Arley. Being forced into an arraigned marriage with the Spade prince Ace, certainly is also thrown into question when she can’t decide what to feel entirely for the man.
I was very excited to be able to receive this as an ARC from the author who has been amazing and fun. To also see so much talent from her - I’m in awe. I am excited to see what more she has up her sleeve for the Scarlett and the kingdom.

This was such an EPIC read. The imagery Ruby provides has you wanting to dive into Underland and stand by Scarlett (or ya know even be Scarlett, who wouldn't want to be with all those delicious men 🫠).
You feel the power dynamic between Scarlett and her "mother." You see how the game is played, everyone wanting to wed the Princess to be the next ruler Underland, but Scar has a different idea.
You get to feel the devotion and dedication Arley, Maddox and... the residents of Underland have for Scarlett.

absolutely devoured!!
This is her debut and man oh man did it NOT disappoint! I loved every minute of it
Now I go by Harley and everytime I heard or saw Arley I’m like wait a minute what I do?! lol
And Maddox, love him too.
Now there’s a certain man experiencing LDE so I’m really excited to see if the tables get turned and not in his favor because man oh man he’s a piece of work! Be sure to check this out!!

I absolutely love this book. I have been following ruby since I started doing reviews and have waited to finally get my hands on this book. Not only is the cover amazing but the book itself.... chef's kiss. there as so many twists and turns, the FMC standing up for herself and taking no one's crap. you also cant forget those amazing smut scenes. Yes please! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I love how the characters come together. From the beginning of the book, you can picture every bit of this book, almost as if it’s a movie. Each character has their own personality, and it comes through in the writing. Scarlett is a bada$$, and I can’t wait to continue this story.
THAT’S how the author leaves it!? I need the next book IMMEDIATELY!

This book is perfect for my dark Romantasy readers! It's an Alice in wonderland retelling with a twist! I was hooked with Ruby's writing! Her words are so elegant and poetic as she captures your attention and enwraps you in her words! I devoured the why choose story line going on, but for some reason Aces bad boy/villainous character has me HOOKED! The ending had me hooked and needing more ASAP! If you love fantasy or retelling, I urge you to go read this masterpiece 😍

Have you seen the film 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬? I think that's the closest thing to it, especially 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐝.
However, in this case, the story has been very distorted, and the characters' motivations lead them to make extreme decisions.
Scarlett Flameheart, heir to the Crimson Court, is nothing more than a pawn in the hands of her mother, the Queen Seraphine.
What is the most obvious motivation? Power. She is even willing to give away her only daughter to prevent it from slipping through her fingers!
Maddox, his mother's loyal hound, is unwilling to see the princess sacrificed for such a senseless whim. Like Maddox, Arley — the scion to the White Rabbit line — is prepared to defy the sovereign's wishes to prevent her from becoming a trophy in the Spade Territories.
In one of the most tragicomic scenes, Scarlett is forced to obey the ruthless Queen's orders, thus ensuring that the latter's secret remains just that the latter's secret remains just that, and that the prophecy revealed to her will never be revealed😶🌫️
I don't know if the author intended to retell Alice in Wonderland, but it must be said that this pandemonium is original! While Maddox and Arley's loyalty is beyond question, there is always the danger that their devotion may lead to a fate worse than betrayal. Much like Mother Gothel, Seraphine is willing to hide her daughter's true potential to stop the prophecy from coming true. Putting the royals of Ironspire Fortress at risk is the least she can do to avoid the situation turning against her.
We have an open ending, with a stalemate for the three rebels.
What will their mutiny bring? Will they find a solution for the Underland that does not involve destroying its inhabitants?

Any form of a wonderland retelling SIGN ME UP!! This is definitely a story that pulls you in, twists you up, and doesn’t let go. Overall I really liked it, there were parts in the story I did find confusing or felt like I had missed something that wasn’t fully explained, and there were definitely repetitive phrases throughout to describe situations. But overall the story does leave you excited for what comes next.

RUUBBYYYYYY!!!! So I got to beta read this book and to say that I devoured it is an understatement. This book sunk and I mean sunk its shadow claws into me and dragged me through a Rollercoaster and that I will love to relive again and again and again. I cant wait to see where this series goes and live more wonderful adventures.

‘Crimson Court Beneath the Veil’ absolutely pulled me out of a reading slump and that’s coming from someone who isn’t usually a fantasy reader. This book hooked me so deeply that I flew through it in one sitting!
If you love dark fantasy romance with political intrigue, magic, morally gray characters and an ending that punches you straight in the chest, this one’s for you besties 😉
Starting from the prologue, the world-building was dark and intoxicating without ever feeling overwhelming. The author has this incredible way of blending court politics, magic, simmering tension, and dangerous romance into something that feels effortlessly smooth ❤️🔥
Scarlett, Arley, and Maddox completely stole my heart in different ways. Their dynamics are so addicting that I was actually torn in between whom I should pick for Scarlett then I was like… “Fck forbidden sht. Why choose?” 😂
And now let’s talk about that cliffhanger? I’m still screaming 😭😩 girl I’m already ready for the emotional damage just gimme the book alreadyyyyyy

Okay not gonna lie when I saw the cover photo I just had to read it and give it a try. And oh boy I’m so glad I did cause this book I don’t have words to describe. From the start to the end this book kept me on edge like what’s gonna happen next and how it’ll turn out. I really loved this book and looking forward to next one
