A summer family reunion set in coastal Maine sounds idyllic, unless one finds the neighbor's dead body at home in his bed, but then it disappears. Factor in a mother-in-law who makes no secret of her disdain for certain members of the family, a teenager intent on having her own way, and a paranormal cult moving into the dead neighbor's house, then all in all, there's a recipe for disaster that will keep the reader curious to the end.
