Pick up "My Disastrous Duchess" today to discover Hanna's amazing new story!
Hanna Hamilton has been fascinated with the Regency era ever since she was a young teen, first discovering historical romance novels by famous authors such as Jane Austen and Lisa Kleypas. She believes that love was just so much more magical back then, more like a fairy tale. She always daydreamed about finding love herself that way, but since that is impossible in the twenty-first century, she decided to write about it instead!
Born in Texas, Hanna Hamilton obtained a degree in Creative Writing and has worked as a literature teacher before becoming a novelist. When she isn’t writing, Hanna likes to explore the countryside with her husband and two children, gaining inspiration from the natural world around her.
So, come on a journey into love, confusion, and redemption all within the Regency era. Hanna hopes that you will enjoy immersing yourself into her novels and that you too will find a love for old-fashioned romance, just as she has.

A Delightfully Chaotic Romance With All the Right Feels!
My Disastrous Duchess swept me off my feet! Hanna Hamilton has crafted a beautifully written Regency romance filled with wit, tension, and just the right amount of chaos. Lady Margaret is fiery and relatable, while Alexander is the perfect brooding duke whose life turns upside down in the most delicious way.
The chemistry between them crackles from the very first spilled glass of wine, and the forced proximity trope (thanks to a broken carriage!) was done so well. Every moment had me smiling, swooning, or holding my breath. I especially loved how their relationship grew with real emotional depth no insta love, no drama for drama’s sake, just two flawed people navigating scandal and learning to love.
A satisfying, sweet happily ever after with no cliffhangers or nonsense just pure, romantic joy. If you love strong heroines, brooding dukes, and well paced Regency storytelling, do yourself a favor and grab this book.
I really enjoyed this well-written story. Duke Alexander and Margaret did not appear to be able to get on well together. However, when Margaret was injured in a carriage accident, Alexander rescued her. She had to spend the night at his home but this lead to the gossip rags printing lies about them. Margaret was bethrothed to a much older man and she hated him. When he read the papers he broke the Bethrothal and Alexander offered for Margaret. They married but it was obvious that there were secrets in Alexander's life. What was his uncle hiding? Will the secrets endanger Alexander? Will he be able to keep Margaret safe? Read on and enjoy
Lady Margaret has but one option- to marry & save her family- he is despicable but that won’t save her as her mother is pushing her to go through with it. But a visit to a cousin has a disastrous outcome & she’s set events to happen that no one can foresee. A painting sets everything in motion- will she and Alexander find who they are searching for; or is it a trap? A great read. This was my second time!
Throughly enjoyed the plot and the cast of characters that played out the story. It had a lovely HEA at the end a lots of master throughout. Enjoyed❤️❤️❤️
