Sam and his buddies have been working hard all semester. They have a big game coming up, along with midterms, but yearn for a small break. Every year there is rumor of a huge mysterious party, but they haven’t been. Walter somehow gets directions to the party and begs and pleads his friends to take the break they have needed to go. Friday night finally arrives and they take off but quickly get lost. They desperately try to find someone to help them and after their long search, they finally do. But this odd and crazy man isn’t interested in helping them, only himself. Will they ever get to “the” party or did they just arrive? Here is a preview: All the buildings looked almost alike, except for one in the distance that seemed to have a glow in one of the lower windows, announcing the fact that someone was inside. “Guys, it looks like our prayers have been answered, and we might just find the help that we are looking for.” Pointing in the direction of the building, they both peered into the darkness, and started to jog along with me to the door to the building. At first, it appeared that all the doors were locked, and we were about to turn away, when we heard a crash inside and then somebody screaming. It only lasted for a few seconds, and then everything was dead silent, except for the sound of our heavy breathing from not only jogging to the building, but also from hearing the scream from inside. There was a broken window, and it didn't take very much to remove the panes of broken glass, before we slid in and found a way to a set of stairs. Looking up, there was definitely a light underneath the door at the top of the stairs, and we opened it not realizing that we had interrupted something.
Christopher Grant was born and raised in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. He did his undergraduate and graduate work at Stony Brook University, receiving degrees in Economics and Human Resource Management (as well as a minor in John Madden Football for the Playstation). Teenie marks Christopher’s debut as an author. “I love to tell stories. If you ask any of my friends, you’ll be sure to hear that I’m a certified blabbermouth. In jest, one friend suggested that I try my hand at writing. Ten years later, Eureka!” Christopher was inspired to write from a female’s perspective after reading an article about publishers looking for men writing as women. “I grew up in a household that was dominated by strong female influences. My mother and three aunts, each with their own unique temperament and assortment of quirks, had a profound affect on me as a child. After reading that article, I figured who better than me than to write that kind of story?” Christopher currently works as an equities trader and lives in Harlem, NY. He spends his free time reading, writing, playing basketball, and traveling the world with his wife and family.
