I am feral over this book
Okay, Bishop absolutely DESTROYED me in the best possible way. The tension? The loyalty? The “I’ve loved you forever but I’m too stubborn to admit it” energy?? I was EATING IT UP.
Bishop Black is the definition of a dangerous softie—President of the Sons of Havoc, giant attitude, giant heart, and absolutely gone for Ivy even though he pretends he’s not. And Ivy? My girl deserved the world and then some.
Their best-friends-to-lovers slow burn had me kicking my feet. But when her “perfect” boyfriend turns out to be violent? Ohhhhhh Bishop said nope and went full vengeance mode—and honestly I clapped. Out loud. In my house.
The way he protects her, chooses her, and finally lets himself want her… I melted. Fully melted. Puddle on the floor.
This book is gritty, emotional, romantic, and straight-up addicting. If you love MC vibes, unhinged loyalty, and a hero who would burn down the entire world for his girl, Bishop is IT. I devoured it.

Whilst reading this book I sometimes wanted to shake Bishop to get him to see exactly what he had in front of him. He kept Ivy at arm’s length whilst constantly denying that he had feelings for her and by doing that because he wanted to protect her he did not realise how he was putting her in danger. I loved the brotherhood of the MC members and how protective they were of Ivy. And Ivy, she was a strong woman but because of her feelings for Bishop she was really vulnerable. This book was an emotional roller coaster for characters and readers alike but It was a book that had a beautiful story of a love that would never die and just how we would react when we were faced with the possibility of losing something we cherished. A great read!

I am so happy to have found another great MC group to read! I really enjoyed the characters in this series. Why do men always have to be so stubborn? The connection between Ivy and Bishop has always been there but Bishop has always held back. It took an event to happen to make Bishop step up for Ivy’s heart.
This series had started with a great development of the President and Ivy. Can’t wait to see where we will go on this series. This is another author I will look forward to following!

to the Sons of Havoc Phoneix chapter, it is the story of Bishop & Ivy he is the MC President and he is in love with his best friend whom he doesnt want to admit he has strong feeling for. This book is full of twists and turns with crazy emotions and a page turner. Can Bishop claim what is his before someone else tries to claim what is his?

It's been a a few years since I've read her books, but this confuses me when he talks about his dad Anchor, was he in another book or not. The mental abuse and physical abuse with Ivy and Bishop is having a hard time dealing with it. HEA.

Both know it, as does everyone who knows them, but Bishop refuses to act on his feelings and keeps pushing her away. He calls their sizzling kiss a mistake and tells her he isn’t going to be anything other than her friend.
Biggest mistake he ever made. Bishop can’t stand to see her with anyone else, especially not a man who has a grudge against him. Unfortunately, Ivy is done having her heart shredded by Bishop and now not only avoids him, but all of their friends too. She is the one pushing him away now. Then his worst fear is realized, and Ivy is hurt as a direct result of his actions. He wasn’t there to protect her from the man who wanted to use her to strike back at him. Now Bishop has some grovelling to do and amends to make to the only woman who holds his heart, Ivy. But first, he is on a search and destroy mission with the whole club at his back …..going to bring the Havoc to his prey.

This had promise then turned stupid. Bishop pushes Ivy away because he doesn’t think he’s good enough for her. This has been going on for years and now she’s had enough. Enter Maddox, whom is on the club’s radar after he got handsy with one of the club’s strippers/dancers. Maddox gets thrown out of the strip club and was subsequently heard around town threatening to hit Bishop where it hurts (presumably Ivy). Bishop is alerted to this. So what does he do when he sees that Maddox is moving in on Ivy? He warns Maddox off and refuses to tell Ivy why he is doing so when she asks him, point blank, for a reason. Fast forward weeks later and Ivy has realized that Maddox is mentally and physically abusive. Bishop notices too when he sees bruising on her arm. He warns Maddox not to hurt her, lots of threats but no action. Later, Maddox is back at the strip/burlesque club and grabs a dancer’s wrist hard. Bishop becomes enraged (honestly, more so than when he confronted him about hurting Ivy) and throws him out of the club again. More big threats of bodily harm, etc. Maddox in turn goes to Ivy’s house, beats the shit out of her. Bishop finds her after she’s barely able to call him for help. He finally admits his feelings and that’s that.

Bishop, Bishop, Bishop. We need to have a talk! Just acknowledge your feelings and everything will go well. He was one mighty stubborn individual. Everyone knows how he feels about Ivy, even Ivy, but he was just so darn stubborn about thinking he knew what was best. His stubbornness causes Ivy to get into a tough spot. But when push comes to shove, he shows up when needed and protects Ivy with everything he can. In the end, when it counted, he was there for her and was able to show how he really felt.

Bishop is book 1 in the Sons Of Havoc MC series, Phoenix Chapter. It's Bishop and Ivy's story and it's a great beginning to this new Chapter. Bishop is the Chapter President and Ivy has been his best friend forever. He struggles with admitting his feelings for her and has for quite some time. It’s only when danger strikes that he finally admits what everyone else has known all along. This is a fast-paced, quick read that pulls you in right away and had me wanting to knock Bishop in the head. He's so stubborn and hard headed it was almost too late. A definite must read!

This was a fantastic story from start to finish.
Bishop and Ivy’s friendship adds real emotion, and the tension around their relationship kept me turning the pages. I’ve enjoyed the Sons of Havoc MC series since the beginning and this new Phoenix Chapter delivers the same energy and excitement.
I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series which is Beast.

I was really looking forward to reading this book. I think the story line had potential but it was very fragmented. It skipped alot of details so it made you feel like you missed something. Lots of characters but not enough details about them.

What a phenomenal friends to lovers by Claire Shaw. Bishop thinks he's protecting her by not admitting his feelings and claiming her but in fact he's leaving her more vulnerable. A must read.
