It's been seven months since my engagement fell apart, and I’ve finally started to channel my energy into a fresh career and rediscover my joy. That is, until my best friend ambushes me with a blind date featuring none other than the undeniably charming former football star, Archer Banks.

But things take an unexpected turn when he accuses me of being a cheater. Seriously?

Now that I’m at the helm of my family’s vacation rental company, the game of football feels like a distant memory. When my cousin pressures me into going on a blind date, I hesitantly agree. Imagine my shock when I discover it’s Clara Sharp—a woman engaged to one of my employees!

When I find out she’s single and working with the design firm I hired in Mountain View, Arkansas, all I can think about is a summer romance before I go back home. That should be easy. Right?

An incredibly entertaining read that starts with a comical scene and keeps the playful humor rolling all the way through; the author has undoubtedly found her true calling in romantic comedy! In fact, I was so drawn into the story that I completely lost track of time, excited to keep flipping the pages to see what would happen next; it was like being glued to a film! The dialogue flows effortlessly, exuding a sense of realness, brimming with laugh-out-loud situations that will have you chuckling at the characters' antics and witty exchanges.

One of the best parts of this book in my opinion is how it jumps between various character perspectives, infusing extra comedy and depth. This storytelling method keeps the plot lively and helps readers connect with the colorful cast, each with their own unique quirks and personalities. As you delve deeper into their lives, you’ll find yourself laughing at their misadventures and rooting for their growth, making the reading experience all the more enjoyable.

The backdrop of Love Inn The View is undoubtedly another highlight; it genuinely makes you crave being in the great outdoors, which I really liked. Plus, as a huge Jane Austen fan, I relished the references to Pride and Prejudice sprinkled throughout, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the plot.

Altogether, Leah Brewer is an author I will definitely be keeping tabs on from this point forward, and I wholeheartedly recommend this clean, uplifting read to anyone looking for a fun escape filled with lots of excitement and plenty of laughs!

Love Inn The View by Leah Brewer is a charming, lighthearted contemporary romance filled with unexpected twists, undeniable chemistry, and the promise of summer love.

Clara Sharp is finally putting her broken engagement behind her, channeling her energy into a fresh career and rediscovering her joy, until her best friend ambushes her with a blind date featuring the undeniably charming former football star, Archer Banks. But things take an unexpected turn when he accuses her of being a cheater. Seriously?

Archer, now at the helm of his family's vacation rental company, reluctantly agrees to a blind date pushed by his cousin. Imagine his shock when he discovers it's Clara Sharp a woman he believed was engaged to one of his employees. When he learns she's single and working with the design firm he hired in Mountain View, Arkansas, all he can think about is a summer romance before he returns home. That should be easy. Right?

With witty banter, relatable characters, and a charming small-town setting, Love Inn The View is a delightful read for anyone who loves second chances, mistaken assumptions, and the thrill of a summer fling that just might become something more.

Love Inn The View is a charming, fun, and heartfelt romance. Clara and Archer have instant chemistry, and their witty banter had me smiling throughout. I loved how the story balances lighthearted humor with real emotional stakes Clara’s journey of rediscovering herself and Archer’s shift from football star to business leader feels genuine and engaging. The small-town Arkansas setting adds extra charm, and reading this book was never a waste of time. A sweet, satisfying read that stays with you.

I didn't want to give a bad review to a local author, so I gave this 4 stars. I thought it was cool that she name-dropped actual locations in Ar, but I personally didn't love this book. I think it would be great for young adult readers (100% clean love story). However, as an adult, I was bored by the naive, slow romance that suddenly escalated to engagement/marriage, and then the book just ended.
