Wow !! This book did not disappoint. I had the privilege of reading this book as a ARC and got to read it before the release date ☺️ I’m not one for spoilers so I won’t put them on here but I will say it was packed !! With violence, smut, obsession, power, touch her and 💀 everything you want in a dark romance unhinged book. I knew I would love it from the moment I read the dedication. Once this book is released I would grab this with both hands !! This book will not disappoint I loved it !!

Absolutely unhinged.
Love this story from start to finish. I enjoyed how Bella came out of her shell. A few twists I wouldn't of expected.
I love the relationship between Bella and Ronan. I think he needs his own book.
The action was jam packed and the spice was definitely spicy.

Thank you to L.D.Marie for allowing me to read this as an ARC!
This book is the first Mafia Romance I’ve ever read, and it’s set the bar very high for any others now!
It’s twisty, graphic, spicy, terrifying in places and all round a very fun read. The main characters are impeccably written; Knox is pure psychopath and Bella develops into a total badass (with baggage.)
My favourite character though has to be Ronan. He’s a sexy, sassy little cheese slice with the best banter. Mara gets a special mention because we love to see women supporting women even if it’s just to kill scumbag men.
My only criticism would be that Bella’s descent into her Queen status felt a bit rushed, and some of her interactions with Matt felt a bit uncomfortable to read.
Definitely worth reading, especially if you like your romance dark and deadly.

First L.D Marie girl!!!! You know how to write a book!
This had so many twist and turns i thought i was on a rollercoaster. I couldnt have predicted it even if i'd tried!
when you got to a point where u thought possibly where else could this go the atmosphere changed and it switched up into chaos.
What an absolute wild ride.

This book blew me away in the best way possible. The story seduces you right from the start, every character feels real and you'd find yourself caring for them a lot sooner than you'd expect. Knox... in all his twisted, dangerous, alluring ways, shows us a posessive, obsessive adoration towards Bella like no other. But the one thing that moved me the most? They give themselves to each other completely, and Knox gives Bella the freedom to be who she was always meant to be. She really is a storm wrapped in silk, a blossoming black rose with just the right amount of thorns to tease. (Looking at you too Knox, you and Bella's war games in bed...)
I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. The sweetness mixed with the darkness, the raw fulfilment, their utter devotion. They are perfect for each other and I'd definitely be re-reading this when the time's right.
P.S. Mara x Luther? I ship it. Ronan you little smug bastard. Sean deserves more screentime. Nia... please do a photoshoot of Bella and Knox together it'll make your business skyrocket no doubt.

I was lucky enough to have recieved this book as an ARC. All I can say is WOW! I Absolutely loved this book!
The characters, the obsession 🥹 & the whole touch her and die vibes.
As soon as I started this I could not put it down, I was hooked & OBSESSED.
Just by reading this book I could feel how obsessed Knox was with Bella.
I really enjoyed the banter you got from Lucian too, the way he knew exactly what to say to Knox to get him to react was my favourite.
I'm never one to give away spoilers on my reviews but when I say if you love the whole, dark, twisted, obsessive vibes then this is one you NEED to read!
