The list of characters in love with our lead just keeps growing. It's over the top and intentionally tropey in the best way. I have a guess who the lead might end up with, but it'll take a little less running from "fate" before he can open his heart to anyone.

I liked this volume better because (a) it did tone down the creepy brocon (b) I liked the fresh batch of love interests a lot more.

Honestly, I have zero interest in dating sims, so in some ways I'm not the target audience at all. I'm not particularly interested in multiple love interest paths for a single character - I prefer a clear story arc with one who stands out as the obvious endgame. So this might get irritating as it drags out, but right now I don't actually have a really solid ship just yet, so I'm interested in seeing how it plays out.

All I know is that I am not on board for the "steal your brother's boyfriend" route, which Akira finds out through a fellow reincarnated-into-game classmate is a secret path. It's already causing some turmoil between Akira and his brother, and while I have no particular attachment to Makoto and his boyfriend, it's just...well, like Akira says, really messy and would not be a great situation. Plus it would frankly be weird and not remotely romantic for a guy to switch his affections that easily, after entering into an actual relationship.

The rest of the guys are rejected love interests, so they're free to nurse their broken hearts and move on - as Akira's trying to actively force the student council president to do. So far, Natsuki doesn't seem that romantically interested in Akira - he's still just using him as a way to wrangle his way back into Makoto's good graces - but he's a fun character. His brother, Natsuhi, the mysterious guy from the end of the first volume, seems like the most likely endgame at this point.

Natsuhi starts out...kind of homophobic, really, but after spending a day awkwardly fishing with his brother and Akira, he starts to soften a lot on the idea, and even apologizes to Akira for calling his gay brother names. And he is the one to rush in and save Akira from "the bad route" when an obsessive fan tries to assault him.

The other reincarnated character's little brother is another interesting possibility - he's sweet and fun and is apparently going to hit a growth spurt that will turn him into a genuine romantic interest, much to his angry sister (originally a BL-hating guy)'s dismay. It should be funny to see that playing out, and the sister fighting against the game mechanics to keep her brother away from the hero.

Because as it turns out, Akira was the star of a sequel game that he'd somehow never known about, but all these events are playing out the way they're supposed to be, because he is the main character now. Even though he's absolutely determined to not end up with any of his love interests...

Ok i still think kaede or hina would b a rlly cute ship tbh. Kaede is just the kinda rascal i love n hina is cute i love their dynamics n i think double dates with their big bros would b cute. Again gross get that psycho ass pedophile of a janitor out of here!! The two delinquent bros r funny even tho i dont like that the prez is essentially harassing makoto to win his love even tho he’s already happily in a relationship (for now jeez.) Scary girlie being a fellow transmigrator was not what i was expecting but such a cool twist! Who knew our cute angel would become an overgrown prince puppy lol. Anyways not here for the brother conflict over his bf, glad mc also is not here for that at all. Wtf was that kidnapping, this shit is wild as hell. I love all the character tropes (except for the red flags disgusting), but damn this is all over the place.

Oh my goodness! The shenanigans and plot development have progressed delightfully! There's a little bit of a twist and a bit of scary drama but overall I'm quite hooked and fascinated lol! Unfortunately volume three is an out yet when I'm writing this review so... I get to wait and wait and wait... :-(

This is a Crack manga. It shouldn't be taken seriously. That being said I'm giggling at the ridiculous amount of suitors the ML has. Also trying to wrap my head around the gender-swap that happened. I keep on forgetting about it.

But I enjoyed this one more cuz there was less creepy janitor and the MC was less creepy about his brother.
The plot thickens and the angst heightened
