I didn’t finish it. It wasn’t an interesting listen, wasn’t able to grab my attention.

The problem with this book is that I fail to see who the audience is supposed to be. Anybody who knows anything about Project 2025, already knows these things. I was looking for a more comprehensive analysis, and this was very surface level. It should have been called “Intro to Project 2025: Basic Principles, Risks, and Global Analysis”.

If the audience is supposed to be liberals, they probably already know all of this. If the audience is supposed to be conservatives, the language used would just turn them off. If you’re trying to convince someone of something, you should not only present facts, but data as well. Using examples of other countries is a start, but the author should have gone into more depth with real data and statistics.

Then, he summarizes each section, as if the language in it isn’t basic enough to comprehend already! I can’t recommend this book to my liberal friends, because it’ll just be disparaging and a waste of their time. I can recommend this book to my conservative friends, because it’ll go in one ear and out the other. So I ask, who is the intended audience of this book?

Overall, this is a good book if you’ve had your head in the sand for the past few years. If you have kept up with current politics, none of this should surprise you.

This book is just a litany of progressive ideology discrediting any conservative thought or discourse. The premise is the government has the answers and through rules and regulations can usher in a just and equitable society. Examples are given where certain ideologies have been instituted of which all are socialistic in nature.

This does not give any specifics on project 2025.

Although some deny it, it’s increasingly clear that Donald Trump’s administration is embracing the agenda of “Project 2025.” What does this agenda include?
• Strictly limiting illegal immigration and significantly reducing legal immigration, except from select countries.
• Cutting benefits for low-income populations, especially healthcare and food assistance.
• Slashing federal investment in education, shifting it to the states—effectively making U.S. education less competitive globally.
• Imposing tariffs and pushing toward economic isolation.
• Using every legal mechanism to suppress Black and Latino voter participation.
• Discriminating against anyone who is “different”—whether in sexual orientation, religion, or lifestyle—by removing protections and support programs.

The underlying goal appears to be the restoration of control in the hands of WASPs, aiming to reassert dominance both in the U.S. and globally after decades of perceived decline.

This book discusses the possible consequences of such policies:
• Greater inequality.
• Fewer opportunities for the poor.
• Preventable deaths.
• Rollbacks in human rights.
• A decline in global trust in the U.S., potentially accelerating China’s global influence.

Personally, I consider myself a conservative—but one with a strong Christian foundation. I believe deeply in the responsibility to help the poor, not through handouts, but by giving them the tools and opportunities to grow and succeed.

This book offered many powerful reflections. Definitely worth the read.

This is more a one man's assessment of the impact Project 2025 will have than it is the actual Project 2025 document. It looks at the large issues it would affect, such as health care, education, immigration and voting rights in light of how other countries approach the same problems, but not with a critical eye.

I'm very liberal, but even I can see through his agenda. It's far too one sided and as a result, doesn't provide a level approach to the threat to democracy that the document proposes.

This book barely scratches the surface of project 2025. If you know anything about project 2025, it’s unlikely you’ll learn much from this. While core ideas of project 2025 are mentioned and rebutted, no clear facts are stated and no specific plan is mentioned. At most, the author gives examples of where their preferred ideologies are instituted. Each chapter ends with an unnecessary summary and a call to action that never varies.

Incredibly simple book that lacks any depth or deeper understanding of Project 2025.
