An action-packed LitRPG from the Bestselling author of Sky Realms Online and The Connected System!
Fight. Survive. Advance. The world of Merelein is surrounded by a mysterious shroud of magical energy. A select few called Shroudweavers gain access to the shroud, in the form of powerful abilities used to fight monsters and other dangers.
Culann Hawkfall is one of them — a Shroudweaver wandering the continent looking for adventure and rare spirit-infused artifacts while escaping a past he wants nothing to do with.
Join Culann on his adventures, riding far and helping the people of the world wherever he goes. For it is only through the use of his rare abilities that can he advance, and he hopes that progression may help him find the peace he lacks.
The Bestselling author of Sky Realms Online and The Connected System returns with this action-packed LitRPG Adventure featuring an intelligent MC that uses all the tools at his disposal and hungers for adventure.
Born and raised in the granite state of New Hampshire, Troy is a lifelong and avid reader of comic books and novels (mostly in the fantasy, sci-fi and adventure/thriller genres). The ongoing serial storytelling methods of comic books and television has always fascinated him and provided inspiration for his writing. He’s always had a love of creating and world building and dreams of someday seeing his creations expressed across all media: books, comic books, movies, TV and even toys.
When not writing, Troy can be found outside hiking, kayaking or out back at the bonfire with beer in hand. Don’t expect to bother him during football season, especially when the Patriots are playing.
Another very enjoyable series from the author. In this, a traveling magic using warrior known as a Shroud Weaver encounters of mystery of skeletons and an abandoned mine, threatening a village, good action and characters.
This is written in a kind of fragmented, staccato style that I didn't get along with. And the lead character speaks in heavy dialect ("d'ye ken, ah goonae" style) which I *really* didn't get along with. A shame because the world sounded interesting.
Interesting characters but slightly vague world-building, so it is difficult to judge things. Mostly LitRPG-lite with no stat numbers but a few abilities that can be upgraded.
