Shadow Walker, does not read like a debut novel. Shadow Walker reads like a thrilling, compelling fantasy novel from a seasoned author who has been writing for 30 or 40 years. From the prologue to the very last chapter, you are on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what will happen next. When Leonardo wonders what he is, you are also grappling going, "Yeah! What the f*** IS he?" One thing he knows for certain, he's "...a f***ing nightmare"!

Fans of fantasy novels, fans who like to read about vampires, werewolves, witches, and demons, and fans who are just in for a captivating storyline should pick up this book. I highly recommend it. Five stars all the way, and I can't wait to see what Victoria Shaw comes up with next!

More than just the delicious violence and end-to-end action of demons, vampires, werewolves and witches all vying for control in a political aspect, I was particularly touched by the human side of our anti-Hero. The relationship with him and those close to him, however contemptuous it might be at times, was the real highlight of this book for me and brought a beautiful facet of humanity to the Devil's Own Child.

A bourbon-soaked, steak-seared thrill-ride through a horror landscape full of bloody fun and genuine heart.

Great read, that takes a dive into the supernatural realm. Between demons, vampires, wolves, and witches, this book is everything you’d enjoy reading and more! I personally liked it because on a deeper level it shows that no matter how “dark” life may get, or how you may sometimes unintentionally hurt those you love, no matter what, the real people who love and support you will always be in your corner. There are moments of comic relief and relatable moment with the characters.
