When God gets tired of your anxious prayers, the next step is apparently shoving you into a fantasy world—with unstable magic, a sarcastic system, and way too many gorgeous adventurers.
Eli didn’t ask to be here. He definitely didn’t ask for beginner quests involving murder-bunnies, exploding bees, or a magic system that comments on his life choices like a passive-aggressive therapist.
Thrust into the realm of Etrithia with nothing but starter gear and a head full of intrusive thoughts, Eli quickly learns that survival isn’t about power—it’s about adaptation. And maybe kissing. Possibly both at once.
Now he's juggling fireballs, noble vendettas, and two adventurers who seem very interested in adopting him—romantically and otherwise. Between accidental spell combos, goose-poop poison, and a culture where mages are expected to build harems, Eli’s ADHD hyperfocus might be the only thing keeping him alive.
A chaotic LitRPG fantasy for adult readers, packed with snarky banter, spicy tension, slow-build relationships, and authentic neurodivergent representation.
Content Note: Includes adult language, fantasy violence, blood, mental health themes, and a few explicit sexual scenes. Intended for mature readers.
I laughed till I cried at times as I read this book and desperately hope there is a sequel. Not a harem yet but sets up one at the end. Sword and sorcery, classes with leveling up handled well, monsters, but with a weak MC brought from Earth who fights to survive and is full of self doubt exacerbated by a snarky interface that belittles him through most of the book. Oh, and a Parthenon of weird, inefficient gods. Action, humor, bumbling romance, and snark equalled fun for me.
It may be a great book, but I'm sick and tired of every MC starting out as a whiny hapless looser and the for some reason, giving the unearned power they turn into a strong driven person. They also get every woman without any reason or effort. I know this is a harem book, but it is just getting tiring.
