When cowboy Tuf Brody’s mom passes away, he discovers six postcards from his brother who he hasn’t seen in thirty years. With his only clue being postmarks from a small town in western Montana, he sets out on a quest to find the only person he ever trusted. It’s a long shot, but he has to try.

Lacey Westwood has been a bartender at the Rusty Nail Saloon in Pine Meadows Montana all her adult life. Having just celebrated her thirty-fifth birthday single, she wonders if she’ll ever find true love and have a family of her own. Haunted by the memory of a small boy who she befriended as a child, she doesn’t know if she’s capable of falling in love.

When Tuf approaches Lacey asking for help in finding his brother, both are surprised by the attraction they feel for each other. As they begin to get to know each other, their opposite pasts and ways of life threaten to keep them apart. A discovery that shocks both of them causes Lacey to doubt everything Tuf has told her. She can’t love someone she doesn’t trust.

As circumstances lead Tuf toward his long lost brother, they also lead him back toward Lacey. When his past collides with his present, can the discoveries he’s made provide a path to a future? A future with Lacey, the only person who has ever accepted him for exactly who he wants to be.

In the beautiful Montana Pines, can Tuf find the home he’s never had? Find your home in Pine Meadows where everyone feels like family.

Wonderful love story

Wonderful love story. Lacy makes friends with a neighbor boy for the summer, he leaves unexpectedly and it breaks her heart. Years later they get reacquainted when he moves to town. Neither realized at first that they were friends when they were younger. Eventually they piece things together from their past. Fall in love again.
I really enjoy the series, waiting for the next one this fall.
