I saw it in a memory. I know how crazy that sounds. There were ten kingdoms of Atlantis, as Plato taught us, each ruled by one of the sons of the legendary Poseidon. I know where they all are.

We are not the first advanced civilization. We aren't even the second. Others existed, and they left behind clues to help their descendants. To help us. I found those clues, including a device used by the ancients that allows me to relive their memories.

Kashim left these treasures for me, or someone like me, because the future of the human race depends on our understanding of the past.

Humanity has enemies as ancient and implacable as the stars themselves. The Naga. The Daevas. The Asuras. Every faction is vying to find the vault left by the ancients with the treasures and knowledge needed to propel humanity in a golden age. If I get there first that is.

If they get there first? Darkness. Servitude. Mankind enslaved. But the worst part? The same global cataclysm that wiped out our ancestors is coming again. The ancients left us the tools to stop it, and that's precisely what I'm going to do.

The finish date on this book is actually the finish date for reading all 5 books currently written in the Mitch Dinklage series. Yes, 5 books in 9 days. That’s a lot of lost sleep & extended bog time every day! I intended to give this book a 2 star because the spelling mistakes & grammatical errors & all round zero editing annoyed me. Then I thought perhaps it was intended so decided to go up a notch to 3 stars but then I found myself gripped by the normal geek guy who has no ego, is a good human & actually just wants to do his bit to save the world & feels he’s super lucky to, along the way, geek out on all the ancient archeological mysteries he so loves. And before I knew it I’d read all 5 annoyingly poorly edited or perhaps geniusly (intended error on my part) edited to appear unedited “journals” to a niche internet fan base. Part that & part actual story told in easy to follow chapters that are from other characters’ perspectives. It’s all pretty unbelievable but then maybe not. I’m not an archeological buff & have no idea if any of it is remotely plausible but I enjoyed the concept. I also liked the personal message the author leaves at the end of each book. I keep meaning to check if the author self published because it comes across as such. I was however annoyed to get to the end of the 5th book only to find he’s writing a 6th. That’s said at least the 5 I read concluded so you aren’t left hanging or reaching a point where it’s too protracted to get to the conclusion. I’m even toying with reading the Deathless Saga the author mentions in an author’s note at the end. I’ll see.

Fast paced and compelling

It's fast paced and a compelling read. It hooked me pretty early and kept me eganged throughout. The Atlantis visions are cool as well.

Mitch is a pretty engaging MC to follow and the magic system/technology is interesting.

His friendship with Henrique(did O spell it right) is good. So is also his situation with Yuvette. They remind me of a tv series with Shazam actor, who is a nerd who gain kind of powers after he puts on a glasses and it info/skills flashed all night long, and fell hard for the female spy.

I would recomed this to anyone who wants to get into reading.

Heir to Atlantis does not disappoint. Calling all my nerds. Yes, I said nerds. Those of us who have believed since the beginning. Chris Fox has done it. Well written, and with so much realism, you can feel the sands of time slipping thru your toes. Look, I've got to find book 2 so please excuse me. I knew they were real. Love the work Mr. Fox. Looking forward to the rest.

Very Entertaining!

I'm rather impressed by this story! Didn't know what to expect but once I started reading it I couldn't stop as became curious as to hoe it unfolded. Mitch is a pretty likeable character and so is Enrique. They work well together and I think Agents Yvette and Case will work well in the stories to come. Found myself a new series to read!
