Ten years ago, Quinn made a desperate bargain with a demon to save her father. The deal was simple: marry him, carry his child, then walk away. But Quinn vanished before the contract could bind them, swearing she'd never need anyone again.
Now she's back in Fable Forest, powerful, closed off, and searching for her missing brother. Her only lead? The same dangerously possessive demon she once ran from. Malphyr is still waiting, still watching, and still determined to make her his.
Malphyr never forgot the woman who stormed into his world and lit a fire he never wanted to put out. For a decade, he’s kept her brother safe and stayed in the shadows. But when Quinn returns, everything shifts. Their connection reignites, and this time, Mal’s not letting her slip away.
As tension builds and buried truths come to light, Quinn has to decide what she’s willing to risk. And Malphyr, haunted by guilt and pulled by love, will give up anything to protect her, even the last piece of himself.
Quinn starts as a lone survivor, sharp and guarded, but slowly unravels into someone open to trust and real love. Malphyr begins as cold control and buried guilt, but softens into a partner who listens, protects, and sacrifices. Together, they move from a deal made in desperation to a love built on choice, truth, and healing.
A steamy, fated mates, demon-human romance with marriage of convenience, forced proximity, grumpy sunshine tension, protective Daddy vibes, and a touch of fairytale magic. This dark-ish monster love story delivers slow burn heat and emotional depth, exploring redemption, power, trauma, identity, and trust. It’s about learning to choose love, even when it’s risky, and finding your person, even when he has horns.
The Elevator Pitch: A wickedly hot, fairytale-tinged monster romance where ice meets fire and nothing stays cold for long. She’s a sharp-tongued virgin with a frozen heart, he’s a possessive demon who’s waited ten years to claim what’s his. It’s fast, filthy, and bursting with magic, obsession, and the kind of love that ruins you sweetly.
I guess I was expecting this book to be a dark, delicious romp through demon territory, but instead, I got a sexy bedtime story with horns. I mean, demons! Fire! Doom! …Right? Not so much. Malphyr (Mal) turns out to be the nicest little hell spawn you’ll ever meet. The guy’s practically angel-adjacent, less of a devilish menace and more of a sweetheart in disguise. Not only does he play nice in a world where he really shouldn’t, but he even gives Quinn an out in their bargain, letting her decide when the deal is sealed and then waits a whole decade before trying to reel her back in. Quinn, for her part, is tough as nails and loaded with hidden talents, so I honestly have no idea why she even needed Mal’s help rescuing her brother. Maybe she just missed him, just a little? Either way, Mal jumps at the chance to play hero and isn’t letting her out of his clutches again. In the end, everyone gets what they want, hearts are warmed, and hellfire turns into candlelight. Cute? Sure. Dark and dangerous? Not even close. I just wish Mal had lived up to his infernal potential and had a little more bite to go with all that charm. Malphyr is 100% crispy shelled cinnamon roll—he really, really wants Quinn to believe he’s a big bad demon, but he caves for her, cares for her, pampers her, and obviously loves her. Quinn is more of a gray cat, than black cat, personality. She’s tough as nails, a little grouchy, but family and anyone that makes it past her stone-shielded heart will see no limits in her loyalty and protection.
‘Queenie’s Daddy Demon’ is a great 2+/-hour read. MCs are well laid to page and they, as well as the supporting characters, have great personalities. I feel the storyline was laid out and flowed nicely for a short story/novella.
Quinn runs to a demon, Malphyr, for help with paying her father’s debt. In exchange for Malphyr’s help he wants his queen. Once to contract is signed Quinn leaves Fable Forest before completing her end of the bargain. When Quinn returns to ask for Malphyr’s help again he’s ready to demand what he’s owed, his wife.
I really loved Quinn and Malphyr’s they’re really sweet together. Quinn runs away when she realizes that she feels something for Mal and as soon as Malphyr meets Quinn he knows that she’s his mate. For a demon Mal is extremely trustworthy and gentle. He makes Quinn feel safe in a way that she never has before but Mal has some guilt around feeling worthy of his bride.
This one is definitely a short and sweet romance. Book contains open door spice.

Queenie’s Daddy Demon is a short, sizzling fantasy romance that blends danger, magic, and instant chemistry into an utterly irresistible package. From the very first page, the story pulls you into Quinn’s world, a woman facing a debt too big to solve alone, forcing her straight into the arms of Mal, the demon who wields all the power… and all the temptation.
If you love alpha demons who fall hard and fast, paired with strong, clever heroines, Queenie’s Daddy Demon delivers. (Bonus points if you like your demons with sensitive horns… and a very interactive tail.)
It’s a thrilling, steamy, and emotionally satisfying read that proves sometimes love is instantaneous… and absolutely unstoppable.

This is a part of a multi-author retelling of fairy tales with darkish theme, a filthy undertone, and sexy hot scenes to keep the pages turning. This story of the ice queen is so well done. Quinn and her family have always found themselves robbing peter to pay paul, but she has decided to do whatever it takes to end the cycle. Malphyr is a demon who because of a kind heart and an act of rebellion gets thrown out of hell as punishment. The two meet, a contract is signed, secrets are kept, years pass, fate intervenes, souls intertwine and wow it is so good. I will for sure be adding a new author to my favorites list. QUEENIE'S DADDY DEMON is part of the multi-authored Filthy Fairytales series. It's a short and steamy, OTT, opposites-attract, runaway bride..sort of...curvy virgin gets her daddy demon romance. Quinn is a grumpy, sassy, curvy girl known as the ICE QUEEN. 10 years ago she agreed to marry MALPHYR "Mal" to save her father, but she ran. Now she is back to look for her missing brother and goes to Mal for help. Mal is the sweetest demon ever who was cast out of hell. He has been waiting for Quinn's return and is not letting her get away again. This was such a fun and steamy, whimsical read with hot chemistry and a happy ending after a lot of drama. I loved it.
This was a fun and steamy romantasy that has great fairy tale vibes. Queenie and Mal come together under difficult circumstances but Malphyr is more than ready to get everything he needs when they do ;) However, Queenie takes off and he has to wait ten years for her to come back to him... Queenie is used to taking care of herself so she's closed off from love and trust. I loved seeing her open up to him and watch them both fall hard for each other. This was a fun fast read that brought all the heat in this marriage of convenience romance :D
Quinn is known as the Ice Queen, using tricks her father taught her, and she's run away from Fable Forest, and nothing could bring her back...except her brother is missing. She only has one hope of finding her brother and it happens to be the one person who could melt her heart and the demon she left behind. Malphyr is determined to not let Quinn get away this time but worried she might now stay once she finds out just how monstrous he really is.

A great story where a demon gets his soul back. Mal is a demon who has been tethered to Earth for breaking an enchanted mirror. Quinn is a human who has inherited magic with ice in her veins. They are brought together when Quinn needs help and Mal discovers she is his fated mate. This is highly entertaining reading.

Oh this one was so good. A daddy demon and an ice queen together was the best pairing. Mal with all his protective daddy vibes could win anyone over and Quinn may have had ice in her veins but she had one very loyal heart. I recommend everyone reads what happens when fire meets ice.
Quinn went to Malphyr to save her family and made a deal with a demon. Now she’s back and trouble is coming but she needs his help again so it’s time to collect on their deal. Heat and heart mark this tale as two lost souls become one wit a heart melting HEA.

I liked this novella. It was just enough to pique my interest in reading a longer novel concerning these two MCs. I enjoyed reading about this demon and his mate. Quite a nice break from the mundane love story.

Honestly it was a 3 stars read up until the point where the MMC lost his immortality for mating with the MFC, also he was not nearly as grey as I hope. I assume he was celibate but he was surprised she was also still a virgin so like he was just going to let her fuck OM?
