Ettie and Elsa-May were promised a simple keep watch over the gingerbread house display at the annual Amish Christmas fundraiser. But nothing’s ever simple when frosting, flaky foundations, and two well-meaning elderly sleuths are involved. One wrong move from a certain white fluffy dog, and a sugar-shingled disaster uncovers a secret that stops the event in its tracks—just as a gunshot cracks the cold air. An out-of-town sponsor drops, wounded, and the cozy fundraiser turns into a crime scene.
With rumors spreading faster than whipped cream on a warm pie, Ettie and Elsa-May are determined to get to the truth—armed with nosy questions, common sense, and a few slightly squashed gingerbread houses (much to Detective Kelly’s dismay).
A festive Amish mystery packed with charm, chaos, and sisters who always bite off more than they can chew (especially when baked goods are involved).
