Wunderbar.

Interesting language book that speaks German with a little story and then translates key words and expressions.
It’s true what they say - a good way of picking up a new language is to read and be surprised at how easy things are picked up. Words from childhood comics like schnell and achtung; from films like schnapps, and from visits to Germany, words like ausgang, haus, auto, danke schon. Place names like Berlin, Hamburger and Munich are familiar too. Euro is a word we all recognise although the old mark is familiar too. A bit like the French franc.
Sonntag for Sunday; tag for day. Christmas carols like Stille Nacht are also familiar.
I think we all recognise kaffee. The Bundesliga. Music like Mozart. Links fahren.
