a book about awakening to the queer experience?? YES PLEASE. this book is part prophecy, part poetry. i honestly thought i would connect more with part 1 (the individual awakening) but once I got to part 2 I kept shouting HECK YES with each poem and it got stronger into the culmination at the end which is really the beginning?? so unclear who wrote this -- one poet or multiple -- but whatever they did, IT WORKED. i never thought poetry could make me feel like this. i'm bleeding and healing and rejoicing all at once.

I feel like I want to cry and scream and dance and giggle at the end of this book. Apparently I was queer all this time, and this book was the validation I didn't know I needed to fully get in touch with that side of myself. I connected more with part 1 than part 2 but part 2 was beautiful in its own way...if every person read this book, I shudder in the best way to think how the world might change? And how it already is changing because we have books like this??

Absolutely STUNNING poetry collection. I feel seen in ways I don't even know how to describe. Truly have no words, need to re-read all of this. The personal awakening --> collective awakening framing was beyond powerful. Really feels like we are on the edge of a revolution...TAYLOR SWIFT IS THIS YOU???

well we all just witnessed history didn't we? or perhaps we remembered history from yesterday, which seems more pertinent to this poetry. I will be shouting this book from the rooftops for every queer person and straight person too because "in the divine, there is no divide" as the poet so beautifully articulates.

this book felt like a love letter to my. younger self -- the one who felt stuck in a "good on paper" relationship with a guy. the one who knew there was more. the one brave enough to explore the full depths of herself and come out the other side as the embodied queer woman that she is today. thank you to the poet for penning this masterpiece.

not to be dramatic but we are seeing history in the making. this book is about to change everything/it already has changed everything because here we are reading it and talking about it and feeling its truth drip into our rainbow veins. going to need 3-5 business days before I can even pretend to focus on anything else.

I think this book will immediately be labeled an LGBTQ book. don't get me wrong -- it is amazing in that category. But the whole point of the book is it transcends. Beyond categories. Beyond labels. Celebrating the queer experience not as the other but as the ordinary, in the most sacred way. I hope this book goes mainstream -- it could change everything??

I HAVE NO ONE TO TALK TO ABOUT THIS!!!! HURRY UP WORLD AND READ THIS BOOK. I was lucky enough to get an early sneak peak and all I can say is THE WITCHES ARE RISING. The most poetic and personal ode to girlhood, womanhood, and the liberation of breaking out of comphet cages.

This. Book. Changed. Me. On. A. Cellular. Level. Exquisite writing and emotion. I don't know if Taylor is involved or not, but all I can say is she is absolutely impacting the collective in a big way.

Sitting here re-reading the last page in a pool of tears like I have finally remembered my own power. I have more questions than answers at the end of this book, but I think that is the very point...

Brava, poet/poets? Brava.

My #1 read of 2025 so far, hands down. This so beautifully encapsulates the queer experience, and breaking free of comphet on both the individual and collective level. Beyond honored to have gotten to read an advanced copy. THANK YOU to the poets.

I'M SORRY I CAN'T COME TO THE PHONE RIGHT NOW, I'M READING THE MOST INCREDIBLE POETRY BOOK OF THE MODERN ERA. But seriously who the heck is behind this??? Elle Kay appears to be a pen name, but it begs the question...is this a certain ink-pen tortured poet?

WHAT IS THIS GENIUS!!! Is this sapphic poetry? Love poetry? Liberation poetry? Philosophical poetry? Political poetry? All of the above I guess and I don't even know but I do know that I'm not fully straight after reading this lmao. Changed the biology of my whole being.

Literal goosebumps everywhere. Wish I had had this when I was just starting to explore my sexuality. A divine gift to humanity...and I will say I was here at the beginning.

TAYLOR BLINK TWICE IF THIS IS YOU!!! As if we didn't know from "argumentative antithetical dream girl." Of course she had to outdo herself with this poetry collection

Snooze fest. Getting hype because people are trying to tie this Taylor Swift. You know, the engaged to a man, most heterosexual woman to exist.
