Notes: I usually read danmei to relax my mind from the rigors of academia (I mean, I'm required to write research and that means there are hundreds of academic literature I've had to read, so I really look for the fluffiest fiction I can find on my spare time). This is probably one of the few times I could relate to the protagonists even though they're in the sciences and I'm in the humanities. I've had to Google nematodes (ahk!!!), and other advanced biology stuff while reading this. A lot of the writing is technical, but I enjoyed the characters so much that I was sad when it came to an end. I checked all the other works of this author and it seems like most of her novels are very short (this one's only around 74 chapters).
