I love anthologies. They stories inside are like bite sized chunks of goodness, each one different from the one before. Most of the stories are fantasy as you would expect but there's also some sci-fi and modern day settings to balance the book out. Every story in thus one is worth reading and I can't say I disliked a single one. I'll point out a few of my favorites (in no particular order) to give you an idea of what's inside:
- Paths in the Forest by Michael S. Pack: two young girls searching for an old stone king. - The Collector by Johnathan Ward: monarch butterflies in this one *tips hat* - The Lost Queen by Victoria Hooper: strong lady monarch! - Monarch of the Glen by Rahne Sinclair: stag king; give me any kind of animal monarch and I'm sold. - The Lost Kingdom by Jo Thomas: Merlin in a mental ward *second tip of the hat* - Tits Up in Wonderland by Chloe Yates: for the name alone
