Greensea Island Adventure #4

Best Friends and Ferry Tales: A Greensea Island Adventure

Rate this book
All aboard for the punchy and fun-sized conclusion to the Sherman family's adventures with a peek at the upcoming mom-com, The Housewives of Greensea Island.

It’s all hands on deck for the Wedding of the Century on Greensea Island! But will the Best Man and the Maid of Honor keep things on course, or will sparks (and drama) fly?

Oliver
Daisy Bennett stops in the middle of the ferry terminal, looks up at me, and kisses me—right there, in front of half the island. Her lips are soft, sure, and impossible to resist. I don’t move. I don’t kiss her back. Because if I do, I might not stop.

Jac—my sister, the bride, and Daisy’s best friend—would string me up like a steelhead and feed me to the bald eagles. Daisy is off-limits. That’s been the rule for as long as I can remember. But suddenly, that rule feels like the only thing standing between me and something that feels right.

Daisy
Kissing Oliver Sherman wasn’t part of my plan. But when I saw him—serious eyes, sandy hair, and that ever-steady presence—I didn’t think. I just leaned in. And his lips? Just as minty and magnetic as I remembered.

I know I’m not supposed to fall for my best friend’s brother. But I’ve never been good at following the rules—and my heart doesn’t care about consequences.

Welcome back to Greensea Island where romance is what ferry tales are made of!

2 stars because I love that Greensea Island is Bainbridge (down to the gnomes), but really this was one star for me. Cute idea, but more time was spent on Greensea culture than the story. Thanks Santa for a quick read

When I finished Fake Dates and Ferry Tales (3rd book in the series) I looked to see if there was one more book, highlighting Oliver’s story and was disappointed to not find anything. Much to my relief (and delight) when I saw Julie at the Puget Sound Book Festival she mentioned that not only was the fourth book coming out but she was able to give me an ARC!

I loved it. I think this was the perfect way to wrap up the story of the Sherman family. It was so cute and I honestly love the best friend turned lover trope. Like the other books in the series the conflict was quickly resolved, but honestly it’s such a nice pace compared to other books that was long with miscommunication and tension.

While I am sad to leave the picturesque Greensea, I’m excited at the possibility of another series taking place on the island and will definitely be keeping an eye out!

I love this series! Julie Farley made a perfect community in her fictitious Greensea Island. And although book 4 wasn’t my favorite, it delivered what was promised: an escapist, lighthearted with quirky characters, sweet romance. Perfect for fans of Gilmore Girls and way less spicy than Pumpkin Spice Cafe, which is a huge plus for me.

cute story but needs editing

There were an awful lot of typos and spelling errors that distracted from the story for me. It was a cute story though
